That makes IMO the Brawler+CSU+Spector FTO kind of senseless compared to the 2Brawlers+X alternative. I thought special fireteams could ignore the common Fireteam requirements.

 

They kindda' do. Like, normally you are only allowed to link members of the same trooper profile, so mix 'n match IS ignoring the common Fireteam requirements. :)

 

All fireteams require the skill. I mean, Emily has Fireteam:Duo on her profile and the only Duo option she has is a special with Uhahu.

 

Special Fireteams like this have been around for a long time now.

Yeah I had that problem too... had to open a separate browser to post.

 

I really don't like 2 group lists where one group has only 1 model. If you go first you're in a worse situation than if you had only 1 group. But I do like the idea of this, and I might tweak it a little to try and play a version of this list sometime soon.

 

Especially with a Warcor! You could take a Zondbot with no real purpose here instead.

 

Hey now, Warcor's have one games before. Those hail mary flash pulse sometimes hit and screw over your opponents plans. :P

In another thread there is a similar list with Riot Grrl haris w/ ML with only 1 combat group. Perfect for limited insertion.

 

That's on my bucket list for sure. I really like my current Anaconda, its a great model and probably my best looking paint job to date. If i got another one, it'd have to be based on a different TAG though, the Anaconda wouldn't be easy to repose or convert (same goes for the operator).

 

using a Guija or a Gecko? (i think those are the closest artistically).

Other option is scarface + cordelia, with cordelia being the operator.

 

Expected more excitement about Emily in the Alguacil or Riot Grrl link. With the X-visor, she can FO out to 48 on a flat 14. She then adds 3 for the full link and is burst 3, and it's an opposed roll, so her mimetism comes into play. I also love Chain of Command on her as it means I can finally roll a Brigada LT without constant fear of Loss of Lieutenant.

 

People seem pretty positive about Emily. She's definitely one of the main draws of the faction, alongside Raoul and the various link team options. I think the Alguacil link is actually the best home for her, if only because they can reform if she dies, unlike the Riot Grrls. She also seems just fine on her own as a solo piece, and being able to potentially spec fire with a Lieutenant order is a pretty neat proposition.
