Hooookay, a bit of an update on postage rates: Due to the covid situation or whatever bollotics are involved, the rates for posting to the US specifically have increased. For now, the postage rate to the US is £8.50. Hopefully this shall go back to normal before too long but for now, we are stuck with it :/
It actually looks like it's only parcels which are affected. I can send in a padded envelope for £3.80 There is a limit to this, however, in that some items are simply not viable to send in an envelope and I could only squeeze in a maximum of 6 infantry minis (depending on the sculpt). There is also the added risk of damage in transit, but it does save a significant amount with this new increase.
Unfortunately I don't think it's going to go back down much. While some might be related to increased air-shipping costs, much of it is due to international rate changes that the US strong-armed into the international postal treaties. You should probably post this info on the Infinity Split Box Service page you provided the link to in your first post of the thread. Right now it only shows the 8.50 Euro charge for non-padded envelope orders. It would help USA customers who want to make an order come to a better informed decision.
