I'm not sure I want to try this again after the enormous failure of this summer preorder (receiving my coldfront/advance pack/dart/human fate 2 weeks after it was made available in FLGS was a huge cold shower) I imagine we will get the background of this year sectorials in there : TAK, OSS, Tungska, Varuna
The new book featuring all the new sectorials and, if I have to guess, probably a reworked campaign and Spec Ops system. Basically, the so called by players: Campaign Paradiso/Acheron Falls.
Is this going to be another background book like Uprising? I wonder if there's going to be any surprises for other factions than Acon in there...
I really really want to like this, especially since CA is my main faction, but after the unmitigated disaster that was Uprising and the recent string of dubious decisions I'm having a hard time trusting today's CB.
If the third offensive is going like first two, then the Human Powers will get their backs kicked on Paradiso. And I am pretty sure its just the beginning of the things that shall come in 2019.
This has to tie in to the new ITS character Aida. I'd put money on her being the reason for Acon being taken out of the fight.
"Unmitigated Disaster" "String of Dubious Decisions" Could you explain these? They seem pretty dramatic and a pretty large overstatement. I know no one in my meta considered Uprising that problematic, and I honestly can't guess what the "String of dubious decisions" refers to.
Removing a large part of YJ without giving something in return, making fun of YJ players' grievances in official statements (the cartoons in GenCon video were fun, though :P), releasing new sectorials for faction that already have the most instead of those who needed it the most (and actually had large part of those sectorials already released, like Ramah), failing to communicate with players, failing to properly proofread ITSX, TAK and OSS before release. It's quite a string, though I strongly disagree that they amount to being an unmitigated disaster. It's also possible that new book will adress at least some of people complains.
You forgot the part where they removed models they had advertised and released for YJ about 6 months prior, and then released new Ninja profiles for 2 factions and not Yu Jing. Real spit in the face.
No body has forgotten, but most have moved on and many have already billed CB's trust capital for the future.
There was a list quoted, and it was forgotten from the list. Until CB admit they fucked up and handled it badly I'm going to keep hitting them for it. They deserve nothing less.
I have an item of my own that's not on the list and there's items on the list that I don't really consider worthy of being on that list. Take it for what it is; Stiopa's own Book of Grudges. The Ninja FO not making it to Yu Jing / ISS is probably more a failure to communicate that they didn't want to add it for impacting ISS balance nor the future of vanilla Yu Jing. So really... it's basically on Stiopa's list already. If you want to hit back at CB, I don't think this tactic is working quite how you intend it to work.
