You're assuming that Jotums and Tiks are built by the same company or that the PanO military mandated the one standard for the interface. I mean it's a reasonable assumption. But also, Hypercorps.
So I read up on Beta troopers and they work very much like a REM Pres TAG or Su Jian, they're remotely operated by former criminals that would cause a PR embarrassment to O-12 if they operated openly.
