Meh, not worth the risk for me imo. Im just worried of yet another generic doctor unit. Each character in defiance gets 3 defining builds. Im hoping medicine(guarenteed), biotech combat, and/or mobility(supersoldier), stealth and camo(hassassin), or something like small arms or cc expert that could fill a role for any 3 haqq sectorals. Hell jazz is from corregidor, and cadin from caledonia, maybe the doc is from qk or hassassins. Although his look is very Rama. I just hope he is useful and doesnt step on any toes. Hakims are already hard to find a spot for imo.
Cannot see how I would benefit any way called "great" having a CC cheerleader. Had we a minelayer, even emauler minelayer (or much better Al Hawwa sniper with minelayer skill) then yes, but ghulam (or zhayedan though who needs them?) doc with CC? Meh.
Given his background (space-born, and space being his posting of choice) I believe dr. Rouhani is most at home with QK. We would have a native QK character, finally. apart from that, his fluff claims he's not much of a combatant, so I'd expect at most an average combat skill.
So, in Defiance Rahman got Akbar Doc ;) Doesn't mean anything, but let's hope for that in Infinity. PozdRawiam / Greetings
Haha, I'm quite aware of the way opinions propagate over the internet. It shouldn't be too long now. We already got the ALEPH character's stats.
The great (or at least interesting) benefit from a doc with CC in my view mainly comes from a doctor's ability to have a nasmat. When both the servant and the doc are engaged in CC, the doc will have +1B and +1PH for damage purposes.
I guess he doesnt need to have cc, maybe biotech combat is shock and viral weapons. Cc13 bs12 str 11 wip 14/15 arm 1 bts 3 w1. Akbar doc, mimetism, viral rifle, breaker pistol maybe?
Now I hope he won't be a ~20pt ghulam akbar doctor with rifle, viral pistol, knife, courage, and hyper dynamics lv1

I think something worth keeping in mind is that in theory these models are being designed for Defiance first and infinity second. We may have a billion great doctor options in infinity, but Defiance doesn't have any haq doctors yet. If they're trying to round out the Defiance roster with stereotypical faction options, then it doesn't surprise me that our character is a doctor, even if Infinity doesn't need another one.
Oh, I'd be down for that. I like running the barid hacker Lt just because with mutts its hard for an enemy to really punch into the deployment zone and take him out. A lieutenant doctor would be something new but in the same vein.
Ok so this is probably actually neither good nor thematic, but I'd love for an opportunity to play just one game with a lieutenant level 2 doctor (or tactical awareness, or whatever - you get the idea) just to see how it changes the cost/benefit of healing when you've got two free orders a turn to make it happen.
Look at the Zhayedan Dossier. Armor and Coat are almost excatly the same, save for minor differences. Just the colour scheme is different. +1 for the Lieutanant-Doctor Wip 15.
