Remember that Kerr-Nau cannot join a haris of Rodoks.

 

Nor any other Umbra or Nexus.

 

Swap Kermit for a Rodok KHD, Combi Fraacta for a BSG, Nexus hacker Lt for a spec ops lt, Plasma Sniper for ML, K1 for another regular carbine, and swap an ikadron for an E-drone. Consider dropping the last FO for a regular combine to get the HMG Q-bot. Depends on what you need that core for in the mission. If you need the FOs, drop an imetron and upgrade the lot.

Not saying it's competitive, but that's how you would get the Haris, Core, and something to buff the Q with (also get that drop bonus for the fraacta) while keeping the spirit of your list.

Also, Kerr Nau is clearly "The Colonel" - not "Kermit".

Look at the updated Fireteams in Wiki - Rodok has Core, Core*2, Haris

Where *2 is the allowance for the Core to be made of up to 4 Rodoks plus 1 Nexus Operative/Samaritan/Legate.

 

As Paraelix noted - the rule that lets Nexus operatives (including Kerr-Nau) join a Rodok or Unidron fireteam is the 'special fireteam core'.

When you make a fireteam haris you're obviously not making a fireteam core, so the option to use the special core doesn't apply.

It's a bit of a pain but, fortunately, most of the Haris setups you can do with the Rodok link seem pretty good. It also means you avoid the manoeuvrability issue you get when the Rodoks try to super jump and anyone without the rule has to idle.

Different to how I'd write it, but looks good. Give it a crack for sure :)

 

I tried one of my standard lists with a TAG taken out and the Rodoks put in, worked really, really well.

 

Oh an aggressive Unidron Link is fun! The ability to go dogged and keep punching someone in the face with an assisted fire spitfire then have an infowar deathstar in the midfield is great!

 

Jesus... Onyx has very good hacking game now.

You can squeeze in a repeater network, several top notch KHD, pitchers, support ware etc.

And then you can take equipment that just removed the hacking game... All in one list.

And it comes with plasma.

Heaps of people use unidron as defense I think they're better as pushers -especially with Kerr nau, e-drone, and Nexus lt hacker on the table. The dogged thing in ARO is not always the best. The opponent often gets you to dogged state, then just stops shooting, and then there's no chance of repair. But when it's your turn, you can really capitalize on the dogged thing. A troop that's already dead is the best attacker, and plasma is a one-size-fits-all ammo. Nothing short of jotum-level stuff does well vs plasma.

 

I like doing both with a Unidron link. I take one ARO weapon and the spitfire with one extra Unidron. That way they can be defensive for the 1st turn and then with the ARO dron dies the team can move out as offensive. Personally I think the ML works best for that set up because if it survives you can bring it forward to use its light shotty.

But with the rodok haris I still like the idea of a pop up ML and then taking the sniper unidron.

As for the Jotum...well that is what the K1 is for lol.

Kermit and the Dron Boys can carry enough gear to pretty much tackle anything your opponent can bring.

 

Im quite happy with the new rodok haris and the suryat changes, im testing one of this lists soon!

@Ursa in first roster I'd swap Imetron from second group to Ikadron from the first, as there's still a chance that Imetron will scatter and you gonna lose it, and that group already has quite low amount of orders.
