    I guess that was in N2 ? Now, the enemy needs to be IMM or Null in order to deploy a charge on him.

    right, there is that option too.
    "put a D-Charge on him" i read, too fast i suppose, as placing one. Not read as CC Attacking with a D-Charge that blows up in the same order, although "put a knife in his back" use the same verb and means a CC Attack.

    I've Surprise CC'd an Iggy (under smoke) with D-Charges with a Prowler. CC13 AP+EXP vs CC

    Back in N2 when Camo gave first strike (opponent couldn't ARO unless they survived) I had a Chasseur take out 8/10 troopers of a Yu Jing army in the first turn through first strike and re-camo, not a single ARM roll passed.

    My Intruders usually take 3 or 4 orders to get past LI armor and with current rules at least I'm canceling their shots back.
