Guys, I can't be the only one who dislikes those... things they've put on Calibans and Gwailos and called antennas. Gwailos' ones are easier to work with, I've separated them a bit and filed down the edges, but I have no idea what to do with those on Calibans' backs. They're ugly, massive, rectangular, and look worse than those on human units. What did you do with yours? Rearranged? Filed down? Exchanged for something else? cut off completely? Any advice appreciated.
I'm going to be contrarian, and say that I don't really mind them and haven't done anything at all. The Caliban ones are a little bit chunky, but not so much that I think they detract from the model. However, looking at its back, I think there's enough detail that if you just clip them off completely it'll still make a good looking model.
I will try for my Caliban to paint these antennas as if it was bones. From this point of vue they are fairly well proportioned imo. And if it's really antennas : bones used as antennas, that's credible for a Shasvastii.
@Redfaint Thanks :) Makes sense, though they're awfully rectangular for bones, that's my main problem with them. They don't fit in with aesthetically with rest of the model -_-
