Because it avoids people "steering" a teardrop template like in N3. More game, less simulation

Lots of great stuff. So happy Qapu Khalqi is staying! So sad StarCo and ForCo are gone. After what Carlos said, I had hoped that they would have merged into one big merc company. All in all, seems like minimal effort from CB again when it comes to NA2. Instead of creating some new, exciting merc companies that blend the stuff we had while reducing the numbers, we just... delete two of them. Meh.

Good changes all around, but can someone fluent on Corvusbellish translate Jet Propulsion for me?

I really like the "roll more, drop one" nerf to Burst increases

    We'll see.
It is, after all, the contents of the can, not the label on it that's important ;)

You can, for example, jump out diagonally from behind a building and go back diagonally to where you came from. No requirement to jump in a parabolic arc.

That was the way SJ was mostly used, CB clearly didn't like that and took control of who can do it.
    Not bad in my eyes...

I love the changes to FTs. I never really liked big static 5-men castles. I played them like everyone because they were powerful but they didn't fit Infinity very well, unlike small mobile Harris or Duo. No more crazy BS, no more sixth sense except if full 5-men AND homogeneous, etc... The new rules will also encourage homogenous FTs, using wildcards will now come at an actual cost. If I understand correctly, a fully mixed 5-men FT has no other bonus than moving together with one order, right?
Having extra defense already on Duo is also nice.
Also like the jet propulsion thing!

    I'm hyped.

So PanO looses Acon, Varuna and NCA?! And Ariadna looses Caledonia and Merovingia!

Definitely not a fun thing to see, this is basically cutting 40% of those factions.

I imagine the shotgun changes reflect the explosive ammo current combat shotguns use.

Edit: why I cannot load a gify? takes time I see.

Some very interesting changes here rules wise. I’m looking forward to seeing how it plays. As for minis…

Happy for my haqqi, my QK were nervous but… ouch. My PanO heart. My Varuna and NCA will not be happy. I hope to see legacy rules that will enable non competitive play with them at some point. As for now, I am saddened to hear this confirmation.

We saw, how USAriadna got peaces discontinued.
I guessed it would be at least return of Merovingia. I was wrong... Ok.

With a White Company it is strange too. There were many other NA2 candidates, but this one was really the best choice to go.

With PanO it was expected but said. BUT I remember "you would get 3+1 sectorial". I hate, when people are so easy with their word.

Yes. Their game, their rules, do what they want, but still that was bad.
Fireteam changes are are fine by the way.

Cripes, just noticed that. Why the hell is MO taking up a PanO Sectorial spot when it's barely even in Vanilla!?

Edit; Seriously. There's one MO exclusive unit in there. Varuna and NCA both have more presence, and the writers can't be stuffed filling in a few more paragraphs of Army code to keep the Sectorials around?

A little sad that FRRM isn't going to full sectorial again right from the rip of N5 but maybe after they get more models from Reinforcements. Hopefully USARF staying means they'll get some love in the usability field as they're a little lacking right now.

You do not say. Shunt MO to NA2 already, it has exactly two profiles of MO in general PanO. Guess the rest of Orders just said "screw this" and went to serve Curia and no one else?

I am not salty or anything, why should I be, both my sectorial madee it, but dayum, I did not expect this to happen, not in the slightest.

Because MO is one of the most popular armies.

The fireteam changes are huge. They really took a bat to Steel Phalanx. It also really decreases the general firepower in the game. I am so happy that surprise shot is good again.

I am sad that they kinda nerfed Khawarijs by implication. No more aerial acrobatics...But let's see what the point cost look like.

We'll see what the other kind (kinds?) of Superjump look like.
Also, what effect does it have on Khawarijs.

Nothing if one was doing it incorrectly for all of N4 :upside_down_face::upside_down_face::upside_down_face:
