I want to see a preview of PanO's Locusts. We've seen a lot of disappointing N4 profiles get interesting reworks, and I'm hoping the Locust will be part of that group. There was a PanO thread a few months back that had some fun ideas for Locusts, and I'm hoping there will be more of a reason to put them on the table.

 

So far the only thing for me that's been disappointing is the Yin She. Everything else has been pretty cool.

 

Sadly, not all places do that. It depends on the province. No idea if was or not the case were CB is located. Barcelona, for sure, people work on Monday :( I´m sad.

About the profiles they release today... In love with the new "jenni", I hope they do something with ORCs.

Boy this is nuts following this thread. I am hopeful seeing some of the changes, that there is more nuance to the changes as well. Fixes to Fireteams that can be taken, or ways around the 15 model cap, or heck, just ava changes could do a lot for certain models/factions. I do think there is a lot of gnashing of teeth over stand alone profiles that dont mean much, sure some guys maybe cheaper but with no fireteam synergy, while others maybe more expensive with truely open fireteam compositions.

I really want to see how Dahshat changes, I got into them in n3, struggled a bit in n4, then really went to crap with the great Fireteam change. Hoping they see some buffs to what they used to be.

Yeah, I find it strange that CB has no releases listed for december. Unless it will only be N5, but it's strange they will sell nothing at all. I place my bet on new re-"printing" of old, demanded classic models like last year.

As for the festivities, I disagree, not all 17 pieces of Spain will move the dec 8th festivity to the monday, in Madrid at least we have to work, for example, and I checked the galician work calendar and it doesn't list monday 9th as holiday.

Also remember they don't have a Cube, so no Doctor rerrolls for them. Gizmokit +1B solves that a lot, but I think I haven't seen any on Haqq's as of yet?

They are giving Warhorse a lot too.

I have the feeling they want to give some sort of extra layer of combos to the listbuilding, between this, the amount of new gear & skills, and the TAG buffers we saw as pilots for JSA (which are kinda "enchantment" from Magic...)

In Spain, it certainly is. There are people who stay in "reserve" both at their home or in the working place, I agree, but first they get extra pay, second they get the free day "moved" to whenever they want (within reason), and third, this is done in certain business only, being regulated by law: emergency services (police, firemen, medical-related...) are of course there, international business are as well (for example, bank's backoffices), some supermarkets remain open (usually only during morning), bars, etc..., but not something like Corvus Belli, mind you.

 

Only haqq IP's with cube are Asawira, Azrail and Al fasid.

Well ORCs have WIP12 doctors or medikits for PH14 .

I'm just too used to a single PH14 roll for HI healing (medikit) that I completely forgot other methos exist , but I see your point: cube-less IS a discount. Atleast the avrage WIP17 roll is quite sufficient for Haqq even in itself, or the WIP14 Akbar roll ("high" risk high reward).

 

Well, that's exactly what I'm saying... Even if most people stay at work until the friday before Xmas, anyone not subject to regulation by law can take holiday whenever he wants, Spain or not. I have a buddy working in Valencia and he is going on holiday on the 19th. Anyway... :)

On the topic, any actual reason to believe that 9th of december thing? I keep hearing it everywhere but it doesn't seem backed up by anything solid...

 

So today is the first weekday in a bit that hasn’t been started with some spoilers in a while. I wonder if we’re getting close to hearing some actual news beyond profiles and rules teased. An update on release time or something?


Edit: Nvm, just saw the post on facebook community that today is a holiday in Spain and that we’re not getting anything till Monday.

Yeah disappointed but we did get a lot yesterday. I'm happy with Gao. I was thinking they are coming out with the rules soon because of it. I'm not sure on Monday but I think sometimes next week.

 

Yep. I have so many questions:

1. Any changes to Frenzy?
2. Any new weapons that target BTS?
3. Any more Adhesive Weapons?
4. Any Changes for Command Tokens and usage?
5. How will Reinforcements work in N5?

So looking forward to getting the answers soon.
