Interesting box for Steel Phalanx, I am awaiting Ajax and Atalanta personally, but this could come in handy.

Scylla has a bit of character, thoough I might reposition her head a little. But... why am I looking at a clone of Machaeon, is this his sister, twin, did he get holoproject and this is his double? ...and where's the sassy stance and flamboyant hair I was looking forward to ? I feel the designer went silly safe on Alke and instead of spending time on the character of the model (ie taking notes from the original model's stance/hair etc), just re-used the overused pre-set to spend time on that tactical rock. I think I am disappointed enough to search out the older model.

I did spot some Yu Jing painted goodness somewhere, I hope to see it here soon :)

 

I'm not sure we'll see a new Atlanta soon as her original incarnation was never discontinued.

Though a new version with a more robust rifle barrel might be nice it's still a gorgeous miniature.

 

Most of them are good, but hassassins now look more generic...

Yu Jing reinforcement looks grate, but I think, that scabbard of unit on the front line looks... like it needs dust from the horns of kirin to estore power and shape x)

 

It's not clear from the photo but the sword has the same curve as the scabbard.

Blade Ops are too close the Bolts in design. Agnes pose is silly for a humble pilot ... look! all the weapons they gave me! Good thing I have Bolts already. So no need here.

Not always, but here it is so, I think.

 

Scylla hasn't had a multi-bot option for at least a year, if not all of n4. ( I forget when they made the change).
What would be nice is if that pack could form a legal fireteam, but right now scylla has to bring along a makhe or hoplite if she wants to be in a haris with the fto version of her bot, which leaves no room for any wild cards to join.

 

As an expansion to Blackwind and Beyond it's a really good box though, as you'll already have a Makhe, Hoplite, and three Thorakitai, giving you some good choices for Fireteams.

 

The boxes are labelled as "Reinforcement pack Beta" and the contents make a lot of sense for people that want to collect a Reinforcements group, not having to get the full ORC and Jujak boxes, etc. I do wonder if they're going to be a more limited release that get dropped from the catalogue after the next ITS Season or so.

Even with the two repacks it's a pretty bountiful month though, 16 new sculpts plus the comic preorder.

 

Really? He's a near perfect proxy for the Jujak ENG due to the panzerfaust.

I could swear ... but I saw it also now. Maybe with the fireteam changes, but they come in may 22 and I had a game in June 22 vs Acontecimento were Scylla had two bots. So maybe the change came with the release of the blackwind box? Anyway now she can have only one but you can put both in a fireteam.

Nah. Not my style of proxy. Once he is painted, he will see tabletime for at least one game ;-)

Oddly enough the ISS have a haidao hacker. And Onyx is just Sygmaa+Umbra, which is rather weird imho too. Why discontinue these whole mini-ranges now?

 

Lol what kind of bundles are those? Haidao isn't even in Imperial Service. I'm glad I have everything I want, but I agree these massive discontinuations for factions that are supposed to be in production are weird. I still don't understand CBs release policy. If these minis don't sell well on their own, why not make Action Packs out of them? Reduce your SKU bloat, keep the ranges in production, and sell more minis at once. Three birds with one stone. But hey, I'm not their marketing manager.

 

That is why some people are not buying it because of uncertain future of the product.

I really like your idea about making some kind of Action pack from some of the boxes. Starter plus something else. I would gladly buy it. But for now I am not sure about anything. As before.
When was it started? I remember, that I had non of that worries before 2020.
