The idea of hollowmen being rat kids is hilarious. They would be highly skilled at what they think is a FPS game and they are just calling everyone noob and raging when they lose... Only they can't really comunicate with anyone, and no one knows about this.

well shes part of my custom bootleg dire foes mission im gonna make called "wetwork" will have a varuna assassin trying to kill the tunguskan popstar, securitate chiefs job is to escort her out of main building to a car and protect car as it leaves, still working out the rules -Varuna gets first turn and 150 points, an exclusion zone outside of the autograph signing session to deploy but can approach from any board edge (waiting on their army lists before making limitations) this mission can also be done with shasvastii or hassans -Tunguska has to set up a perimeter with 300 points, any of its links start the game unformed, No Tags or mercs or minelayers - car has 1 exit so varuna can try and set up a booby trap after she gets in car (she cant start driving away till turn after she gets in) game lasts till either she is off board or dead -game has technically started after varuna has taken first shot at Liliana Vitsin only for her hollow man body guard to have dived in the way so she is prone behind the signature table, Tunguska have to get to her, WIP check to sync then start moving her out. varuna start with -1 order in their pool (assume that was the first shot) -uses a crowd of civilian rules, basically 55 mm bases worth of civilians that aro by moving 4 " random direction and block line of sight to represent chaos of ppl running for cover, if crowd hits ppl they take a ph 8 hit as crowd knocks them around, cant fire templates at them, They react to seeing enemies by running opposite direction, gunshots within their zoc make them scatter randomly, so playing smart you might be able to game the crowds still working on balancing it
Only comment I'd have on the mission is it's not really a "Varunan" thing to go assassinating popstars...if anything, it could be an interesting way to do a NA2 Dire Foes themed around Ikari Co. Have Tunguska having to protect said popstar from a Brawler working for Ikari Company and Ikari Company is trying to grab said popstar for a ransom payout.
Its part of a 3 step story, and popstar in question is one I made earlier and its not being a popstar why she is targeted its because shes daughter of a Tunguskan mafia family (2nd in line and after the initial story set up now heiress) that has been buying up businesses on Varuna, with local gov being confused why Nomads would be interested in agricultural companies, Varuna suspects the mafia group is doing this so they can set up black hand safe houses on varuna proper and supplying arms to Helot insurgent groups aiming to restart their rebellion to weaken the hyperpower, and after a failed series of lawsuits trying to force the family from taking those businesses and warehouses thanks to some shrewd Tunguskan lawyers, varuna attempts to cut off the head of the group by killing the main family line hoping the group falls apart in power struggles and blaming it on Tunguskan gang wars as the Vitsin family recently fell were in trouble on Tunguska for some drama with another major family (squared away by the securitate chief by blackmailing the right people) They have some plausible deniability. This attack is 2nd mission after first 1 succeeds in taking out the head of the family and the eldest son final one is to try and remove her. First mission is an attack on the mafia leader who is currently on a cargo ship in varuna docks, its a simple firefight that takes place after the leader and son are wounded. 2nd is this assassination attempt and final is a maglev train fight as the varuna operatives try to escape the area and the chief uses some morally ambiguous methods to extract info from one of them. 3rd mission involves varuna trying to escape and avoiding warcors rushing to the scene so they can deny it happened, bonus points if they can get everyone off the board and no one finds out who was behind the attacks, while Tunguska want to capture someone alive if they can. The securitate chief is personally involved due to her family having ties to that mafia group, she joined up as basically a plant within securitate to try and keep an eye on internal tunguskan investigations. Though she has kinda built her own powerbase within securitate and is mainly doing this for old family debts. im still workshopping the varunan dude and waiting on varuna to drop with any new fluff that might be interesting to work with. Also on why varuna, its mainly cause I like the "wetwork" theme, being intially a russian euphemism (tunguskan mafia) and varuna being water themed and I liked cheesy names. (My forces for this + my JSA Tenka fubu group have alot of personal fluff, with the tenka fubu group being a tunguskan fronted JSA group to promote nationalism within the JSA and push them towards Independence to gain another ally for the Nomad-haqq-ariadna 0-12 alliance (hence it shares somewhat similar black and yellow colour schemes) I was thinking of later doing some custom missions around the Tenka Fubu group Id been working on a general kinda "mission book" for the infinity rpg where ppl playing if they are struggling to come up with some logic for a mission can take up the Lilianna vitsin (the popstars) story after this with some details of the set up of her "quest" and backstory and personality of ppl involved, she herself actually has little idea of the politics behind the scenes.
