So far I see the special MB link as quite capable to face the classifieds. They're actually able to fulfill more than a half of all classifieds (11/20). If the Hacker is added their capability even increases, making them the most expensive option though (16/20). The Grrls on the other hand profit only from COC Emily (13/20) whilst being second expensive option. Together with Avicenna the Grrls have the least options (9/20). Spoiler: Classified Chart Furthermore that special MB link is IMO a really good choice for Hunting Party as well due to the Brigadas' free ADHLs and Sr. Massacre's E/M equipment whilst not being a specialist himself (contrary to Raoul).
I can't disagree that the Brigada are overpriced. That said, with Massacre and the Dak bringing the link price down overall, that overcosting hurts a lot less, and the benefits Massacre gets in a 5-man are insane (Eclipse smoke at B2 on 19's is insane when you need to avoid something). As for Hellcats, @loricus has some great overviews in the Nomads section worth checking out. Drop troops are hard to figure out, but once you do, they open up avenues of attack nothing else can take advantage of. I stayed away from the MB link in Hunting Party at first because of Emily and her E/M grenades. Now, I love the Brigada and Massacre, for the exact reasons you mentioned. The Dak is kinda vulnerable, but if someone comes after the link with enough firepower to crack it, she's probably going down and out quickly and not getting left unconscious to get tagged. Massacre's combo of E/M CCW and his insane CC + NBW is rude. The fact that he only has an AP CCW to combo means he won't kill something you only want unconscious. Also, E/M and Eclipse grenades in the same link are incredibly dirty. And all that ignores your Brigada getting B2 ADHL shots, also. It's a great package.
