    On the holo2+ FD thoughts:

Two of our MO profiles benefit rather nicely with this: Koni obviously, but also the black friar. Presenting 4-7 different targets with msv2 is going to twist some nipples especially when one has a potential 24" range band and bs14 to consider. This is fantastic for both pieces as their lack of marker state can make them fragile and the added benefit of encouraging wasteful orders to disrupt 1st turn alphas. The presence of MA on the midfield model also helps its survival against hackers and jammers. Even better than just being midfield with a spitfire, he is in the perfect place to clear out mines. MO looks to be able to put up a much better 2nd turn playstyle.the biggest issue may he points but we'll see where he lands.

In vanilla he's still quite potent with spitfire and specialist via CoC. I think here he will see a lot of play with TAGs being a backup attack/specialist/ LT allowing for robust TAG Lts to see the field more and helping vanilla Joan lists AND helping protect our fusi Lts by being both extra bodies and taking over. He can also holo fd in as a Bagh Mari Sapper Sniper with a Zulu pretending to be a mine for some real fun mind games.

In a nutshell, I think he has the potential to really shake up our deception game in a more meaningful manner by pulling double duty rather than his old version where it relied on just doing holo tricks.

Sepulchre does the alpha better than the monty used too.

Holo2 fd2 means that the counter deployed reserve hacker just gotna massive debuff vs this tactic due to there being 3 targets to try for now.

And its still only a move move out of strike range.

OMG, Pano can into nice things! o.O

Well, we have our replacement for Monstesa LGL. AND WE HAVE COC IN MO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Expensive CoC but still really nice to have. Hopefully these options are ava in Generic Pano so we finally have a viable CoC unit again. Also, I like the breaker combi. It helps make the Sepulchre an elite among elites. Against most units (especially low tech armies) it gives a boost in damage over the somewhat unreliable combi.

MO is a whole another faction baby! The tactica needs a complete rewrite!

As for the shock army, it makes sense now why they gained Dart since they lost the Montesa as a midfield option.

Not to put a damper on the all the hype, but I think we need to see the points costs for these profiles. TBH, I liked the old KotHS, at the old points costs, but it seemed the main argument against him was the cost. These could be similar.

With everything else coming down in price I could see both of these new profiles staying around the current 50ish point cost.

Really wish they tacked on a Nanopulser though. That would have really made the unit feel complete.

God damn MO is a whole new faction at this point.

    60 something points CoC....
I'd rather have Joan sit on her ass in my DZ than paying for a HI Lt and that. In terms of being a useful CoC platform that's right next to Singh.

FD2 Spitfire doesn't get me hyped either considering the pricerag.

Even if the CoC is 60pts, it'll be great for Limited Insertion tournaments.

They do take some practice, and are much better paired with a Multirifle (which gives you a weapon for any target in the 8-16" band)

If they stay around the current price, that would really make the KotHS worth taking. Spendy CoC, but rock-hard and frustrating as all hell to kill.

I still think that's in YJ's design space, not PanO's, but we will see in a week and a half (ish).

I know, right? Really making it tempting to go ahead and spend money on finishing my Mercedarian Order army, de Fersen's Combat Rescue troops.

I've been theorizing and already considering how to make a Montesa list, using the Montesa, Tik, and Crusader Brethren alongside Order Sergeants. Still feels like it's lacking, but I'll see what else I can futz in.

Unless they get a "out of nowhere" discount (well it's not that KotHS is atm. overpriced, plus if Hospitallers got discount, everyone can).

To be honest, I've played aggressive Lt before in MO and I don't see myself using CoC for 50+ points now.

I used Joanne Lt in a fireteam and also a Santiago spitfire. When I do that I use the rest of the list to support them (using the extra SWC) and I take care of them, because I know I'm kind of playing all or nothing. It also happens to be fun.

I don't see myself using that kind of Lt and also spending 50+ points on a CoC, when I could use those points on specialists, OS TO, and other support.

Anyway, I'd like to see if we get any new lieutenants that could make CoC more valuable.

Or maybe, it would be worth to using an OS fireteam core, have Joanne Lt running solo and making good use of her Lt order and spitfire, having that Sepulchre CoC knight in the back. Waiting for the last turns to use the Lt for scoring and killing enemy troopers nearby with the breaking rifle...

Love that they're giving these free discounts in MO whereas making IA's troops fake HI because they need to "save points."

It's pretty clear what side the bread is buttered on; I guess MO just does sell that well.

boyo it is saving you points, the question isnt that, but that most people would rather spend the extra points to get true HI. MO isnt receiving free discounts either, they are obviously recosting certain profiles based on JSA frenzy discount that is evident on the tankos. where the discount was upped across the board.

Which is ridiculous, because the Frenzy discount already shouldn't exist when they can just be in a fireteam.
