Today we're doing some matchup testing for the upcoming CanCon Satellite event to be held in Australia in January 2026. Tartary Army Corps is on my shortlist of factions I'm interested in playing for the event (if I play Infinity at the convention) and we're doing some proper stress testing for it into a Combined Army double aspect list complete with the new Sartroid Ranters and Puzzlers and ample warband support.

Today we're playing one of the most interesting list challenges I've been sent by a channel supporter: the combined army multi-species challenge. The goal was to get every member species of the Combined Army into the list, and to the extent that's possible in generic Combined Army, we did it. The resulting list had me trying a few things I otherwise wouldn't have, with the end result being a cracking game.

Infinity N5 Battle Report - Haqqislam vs JSA (Hardlock)

Today we're playing a game with the list featured in the recent Haqqislam faction focus. We'll use this as an opportunity to talk about how I build lists and the sacrifices I'm willing to make defensively and in terms of cutting insurance policies like Chain of Command in exchange for making sure I'm never locked out of being able to make progress during the active turn, and also use the Zeybek to strafe the hell out of a bunch of Samurai from the safety of the skies.
