This is an update in line with removing Saito’s specialist profile from JSA and removing CSU duo from NCA. It’s annoying that they missed it and added the profile if they don’t want it to be there. None of these profiles break the game. They just add some interesting and useful options. Fuck knows a 40 point specialist ninja isn’t going to break JSA, although they could really use it. Same with Hassassins and QK. A “combat” remote isn’t going to break the armies, but they could definitely use it. At least there could be hope as NCA did eventually get the duo back...
NCA actually never had CSU Duo before the update. The fireteam rules are just so weird that no one noticed for a long time.
And is the red fury in vanilla supposed to stay? I might try that actually sometime but i don't want to suddenly find out it went the way of Saito as well.
True. The profile had duo though and the pdf was woefully out of date, so it was widely assumed to be present. Just like in ISS.
If it survived the update I’d say it’s unlikely we’ll lose it. I’ve found it isn’t strictly better than the standard rafiq because you lose out on the light shotgun for TO/Camo, but definitely give it a try. Really it’s just nice to have a cheap 0.5 swc option that isn’t a sniper, panzerfaust. Though we still have the Daylami hmg for whatever that’s worth
I think that, since the Spitfire Rafiq is in Dashat, Ramah & Vanilla, the criteria for that profile being available is "A Maghariba is present". So either the "fix" was to make the database check for Maggie's presence, and it may dissapear later, or they indeed want that rafiq to be on those three places (or both XD)
