Rem racer can be used on piwell or vostok. Which variant is Best for piwell? Fo with mimetism - 6 is nice with extra wip. Cc might be cool. Bs +1 is Fine with asisted fire or triangulated fire. Which one would you prefer? For vostok extra bs seems the nice one.
the +1 Wip also comes with +1 dam and +3 BTS which can be very useful on pi-well especially with a GML, everyone expects the spotlight, not the FO play. As for the Vostok, the +1 BS is kinda boring and a minor bonus compared to the other stuff especially if you are already running assisted fire, the extra Arm and CC can be a really amusing meme that can be surprisingly effective. But the Dam, Wip, and BTS profile is probably the best option, Dam 17 MK12 will punch holes in things (Red fury becomes a shock spitfire), the extra WIP is useful in the event of needing to reset against enemy hackers, becoming base BTS 9 is also very useful when you are a hackable piece rolling around the middle of the table.
+1 for the +1 DAM / WIP. The thing to remember about +1 DAM on Pi-well and the Vostok is that generally ODD will mean the REM is already winning the FTF, so you get LOTS or value out of the additional damage. It's also got utility on Puppets. Either for improving the AP MR's anti-Armour performance or turning the BSG into a really good specialist (also WIP15 B3 FO is actually solid). I really wish that REM Driver was reassignable during the States phase.
Can confirm, +1WIP/DAM is very good on Piwell or a shotgun puppetbot. It's mostly a matter of being able to afford the 12pts and combat group slot, but if you were otherwise just filling those points/slot with something like a jaguar and want to spice it up, it's a good choice. As an aside, if you want to get really janky, you can put supportware on Piwell or the puppet to give them marksmanship on their forward observer attacks. 2 Dice on 14s with his mimetism makes Piwell a surprisingly good direct FO even against links, which you can follow up with a missile strike.
