Reinforcements update - August 2023

    You need to use the FTO profile for the Son-Bae (Mk12 at +0B) and the Rui Shi isn't Fireteam-able.

    The fireteam itself is doable with variation, especially if you get the Sensor REMs, but the footprint is huuuuuuge.

    Browser used & Operative System: Everyone
    Description: Oko Profile is lacking Sensor and Triangulated Fire. Every single other Army "Reinforcement Sensor Bot" has such Sensor and Triangulated Fire, except the Oko. Additionally every other Army "Reinforcement Sensor Bot" keeps their original loadout, and gain an special one with an alternative weapon. But neither Panoceania "Reinforcement Sensor Bot" and O12 "Reinforcement Sensor Bot" keeps their original loadout and only have an alternative one that is more expensive.

    Description: the Chaksa Peripheral that comes with the Reinf. Rasail Boarding Team seems to have lost both Courage and Mimetism (-3) skills.

    Bit & Kiss Onyx profile got horribly messed up, either the incredibly strong load out is determined suitable for Onyx or they are working on repairing the profile so it doesn't destroy the app.

    Nomads don't have any Reinf TR remotes, so it's probably safe to assume TR removal is intentional.

    I think it's very safe to assume that O-12 and PanO not getting their basic FO REM loadouts is intended. Just because some faction(s) got something doesn't mean it's a bug that others don't. I'd like to have gotten a shotgun Haetae instead of an AVA reduction, similar to the shotgun Az'rael, but that doesn't mean it's a bug.

    Is WhiteCo not having a commlink fusilier intended? The other NA2’s with main faction line infantry all got the relevant commlinks.

    Would you want to play that?

    You cannot make a pure 5-man core fireteam in YJ Reinf. The most is 4. Of those, it can only be Hwarang with maybe some Sulsa. But also only the cheapest of them.

    So, four orders and that’s it. You can add orders with an NCO, who automatically makes it no longer pure. The extra order is probably more important than being a pure link. It’s not like you can afford to take any good guns.

    Want to make sure it got noted in this thread: the Umbra Legates Reinforcements profiles currently don't have a discount for losing Forward Deployment (+8"). I'm fairly confident this is an oversight as Ko Dali received a 2 point discount for losing Forward Deployment (+4").

    Yes, in two of the profiles the points remained unchanged on spitfire they got a SWC discount and the two new ones have additional the chain of command skill.

    That is the case for most factions reinforcements, pure 5 cores are mostly off the table and it appears to be an intentional design.

    Of those that can form pure 5-man fireteams, they tend to be pretty plain and most don't have great weapons to take advantage of a 5-man pure core. Other than maybe the Kulak HRL with BS13 and Mim -3, and Haqqislam with BS13 HRL. The Riksha HRL is BS12 with Mim -3, also potential to gain marksmanship (though I can't see it happening much).

    Below I made pure fireteams with at least one big weapon. There's very little room to do much with them if you want a pure team.

    The four sniper rifle Loup Garou looks fun lol.

    So I couldn't make a pure 5-man core for YJ, PanO, Briscards, O-12.

    You'll notice they're all with the exception of the Apache, extremely fragile 1W fireteams. They're 1 dimensional and struggle with a DTW saturated metagame. Trying to operate your BS16 mimetic HRL Kulak will inevitably stall out because at some point you're going to get stuck with DTWs telling your 1W low armour trooper to fuck right off.

    The 4 man cores that mix higher value TacAw and NCO units with 2W pointman units are generally better all round, the 1W fireteams need that pure bonus to even have a chance of competing on paper.

    I wouldn't say garbage but I mostly agree. However, there are those that can mix and still be a 5-man core. Sure it's not pure but still very good. Others like PanO and YJ can technically get a 5-man core mixed but they are not good. Well, I haven't tried much with PanO but I don't like any of the mixed 5-man YJ.

    I particularly like the Brawler and Diggers. But with them I might just let them be impetuous so that they have even more orders.

    I'm having trouble copying it from the mobile app, but NA2 can also make a 5-man pure core using the Priv. Enforcer tag, with both Miranda and Sforza included. While it's still 1W models, the inclusion of mim(-6) and albedo in the same link gives you an advantage in picking your fight, even if you ignore the potential to roll something good on the metachem/booty tables.

    Edit: Ignore this, Priv Enforcer is Haris/Duo only...

    Those are limited to Haris, no Core options.

    To be fair I think they did have it for a few minutes. I was making core for them too. It's still a pretty good haris but not sure what to take for the rest.
