JSA Pack looks good! Fills in a lot of Ikari Co slots and you can get your hands on Yuriko and Ninja with bow, which are always sought after on the side market for JSA
Next up is the Haqq box. Khawarij, Tarik, Zhayedan, and Al Fasid are on the cards, seems like Op: Red Veil & Beyond cover most of the options, though I wouldn't be surprised if there's 2-3 each of the Khawarij and Zhayedan.
Looks like they got Ikari and StarCo mixed up on this one. That's a mysterious blank space before it though.
anyone know how much the shipping for each reinforcement pack will add to the total shipping to the US, the packs are dirt cheap as they are assuming we don't get charged extra 45 $ per addon for shipping
Shipping will most likely be based on weight, so whatever they add to the total cost, will be a function of that. But no, we don't have a specific amount per reinforcement pack, or any add-on for that matter.
They did comment on one of the Youtube videos that adding more metal miniatures in the core pack would not have any effect on shipping so I assume it would be the same for the reinforcement packs (maybe if you get all of them).
Yes but the quote was more in the vain of adding more metal miniatures won't have an impact on shipping because it won't have any significant impact on weight compared to all the other stuff that is in the box.
Now that all the available reinforcement packs are known, could anyone tell me which are the best ones? By which I mean the ones that best complement existing starter packs/introductory boxes when building an army?
Morats are good as well, only a one-model overlap. I think the JSA box is solid too, for the reasons mentioned just above.
I think the JSA one is questionable, it's a 2 model overlap with the army box (Daiyokai and Oniwaban) and the big unit (Daiyokai) is not only overlapping but also an AVA 1 unit. The Yu Jing one looks good to complement the ISS starter (other the fact that it only has 3 Kuang Shi)
All the mercenary boxes seem like excellent packages. The PanOceanian box is an amazing deal if you haven't bought any Varuna stuff yet, and is also probably the best way to get a Tikbalang right now.
My opinions from an Infinity perspective: Spiral Corps: This one is dope, the only split box is the Kaeltar and they're only AVA in Spinal Corpse anyway, 5/5 as no wasted slots. Dashat: Kinda cool, Bashis are nice, Hunzacutie rocks, drones are ace, not sure about the Zhuyong but they're essentially free, 4/5 StarCo: Love the Brigada models and these are the two most useful, but you're going to still need the box to fill out the Fireteam which gives duplicates. Getting the Outrage characters outside the box is really really cool though. Good Brawler options and StarCo only really uses one or two of them at most so you don't need to add the box, 4/5 Yu Jing: Great, a 4th Kuang Shi would have been perfect but this is a really nice ISS box and slots in excellently with the Starter. Nomads: Pretty good, slight overlap with the Tunguska starter and Beyond Icestorm but you're probably getting the best models from those boxes. Morlocks, Kriza, and Intruders are all staples for Nomads and Zoe & Pi Well aren't too be sniffed at. Aleph: Complete Dakini box and complete remotes box, makes it worth it for either Aleph or O-12 despite the other two models overlapping with Coldfront and Beyond. 4/5 PanO: Not my favourite, lots of overlap with the Varuna starter and if you want an Uhlan at a later date you're going to end up with 2 Tikbalangs, the contents are very good but you'll end up with too many duplicates if you want to really collect PanO. 3/5 JSA: A Dire Foe and Ninja normally exclusive to a box primarily composed of two other factions? Plus a complete Tanko box? Worth it even with the superfluous Daiyokai. 2nd Oniwaban isn't bad if you don't already have 3 different Saitos like I do. 4/5 Morats: Complete Hungries box and a bunch of useful blisters, only downside is that it's the starter Oznat not the VSG blister one, very nearly a perfect box, 4.5/5 Onyx: Not a fan, if you want to do the Xeo Haris you'll be buying the box and ending up with a superfluous TAG, most people with also want an ML Unidron which means you'll end up buying the box and getting duplicates of the sniper, and 2 carbine Unidrons isn't quite enough but with the starter you'll have 5 which is too many, my least favourite. 2/5. Ariadna: Single doggo is nice, some annoying overlap with Wildfire & Beyond, and I'm not sure there's enough Fronties or the right combo. I also already own all but two of the Fronties which maybe clouds my opinion. 2.5/5 Edit: I forgot Haqqislam. Haqq: Oh man, this one is a mess. The Zhayedan and Khawarij rifles, and Al Fasid are from Red Veil, but you're going to want some Ghulam which come in Red Veil so immediately we've got a bunch of duplication. We don't get some of the tastiest Khawarij (no HRL, no FAT2 Spitfire) and don't get the other good Zhayedan (the sniper) so that's even more duplication. Getting the Spitfire Tarik is kinda cool but 1) The blister one is super easy to weapon swap, and 2) Beyond Red Veil has the super awesome Fiday. This looks like it could be a half decent RTF starter but with so much overlap I rate it pretty poorly. 2/5 Which am I getting? Spiral and Morat for obvious reasons, though depending how chrimbo goes I might add in Onyx (because I don't want to play Onyx in Infinity but would like the minis for Defiance) and Nomads, maybe Aleph.
