What the actual fuck, CB? Just give Kipral Singh NCO and take away his chain of command then move chain of command over to Stephen Rao so that his wild card actually gets used. Right now, there are almost no situations where he is an enticing option because a 6th body is no longer needed to rebuild Bagh Mari fireteams. If he were a specialist though, that could be interesting...

It's an old problem we all know about. CB unfortunately skips every opportunity to update those, one of them pretty recently.

We keep repeating these things, at some point they'll probably get a fix. But when? It's a wild guess.

First of all, those are not manners in the forum.
Second, regardless of what some users want to believe command skills have never been a strong point of the faction. Therefore there's no entitlement to have optimized profiles in that field.
And last, PanO has 8 characters when there're factions that barely have 3 characters. Four sectorials, 54 profiles. The faction with least units, Tohaa, will have 32 once they add the new 8 profiles from Spiral Corps. Followed by YJ with 41 profiles. For what it's worth designers could chop some profiles from PanO. There's no need to optimize the profiles you're not fond of.

    Bwahahahahaha!
I don’t feel entitled. I know they’re not going to change it. It just felt like it was time for it to come up again.
I am aware. I was building some Acon lists and it just made me sad again.

    Edit

Plus, they made Dart, so it’s clear that they know what an optimized profile looks like. I’m not asking for the impossible. I’m not asking that Rao be made into the walking incarnation of a deity that he is. I’m just asking that they put chain of command on the profile where it can actually be used.

Hey, Acon was my first army, and I'm not happy about those two being a dead weight as well. I think Janzerker's right, it's better to chop such units off and free some design space, than to keep them the way they are now.

Hell, even simply making Rao a Bagh-Mari with CoC would work well.

Reason number five million to optimize Singh’s profile. Even a little. He’s not good enough at cc to be reliable, but he pays points for it. Chain of Command is actually a useless skill on a drop troop. It’s basically a 5-6 point specialist operative, but “secret”. BS13 is great and all other akalis pay 10-15 points less for it.
