Your also asking a question that doesn’t have a clear answer since some factions/sectorials are better suited to some ITS missions and not others. Your also assuming people play ITS and not free form games or another mission system. Your basicsly asking the question “which colour of Skittle tastes best”
The game is ballanced for ITS though, so any advantage or disadvantage gained in free form or alternative missions isn't CBs fault... That being said the variation within ITS is more than enough to make a faction weaker or stronger to extremes. For example if you play a mission that needs specialists to win the cheap and plentiful specialists in CHA are a godsend, but throw in limited insertion and there's not enough room to support those cheap specialists with anything with some teeth wich results in quite quickly dead volunteers or a bunch of Greys trying desperately to kill enough of the enemy specialists to keep ahead on mission points while a Scots guard or two poke at buttons. I think probably we're going about the question the wrong way, we should be asking about flexibility vs specialisation rather than strength vs weakness.
Morat, Merovingia and Shasvastii are definitely the worst. Followed close by Bakunin, Bahram, Druze, Caledonia and Tunguska.
FRRM and Druze have to be the worst sectorials I can't remember the last time I lost a game to either one, Qapu Khalqi got to be the third weakest faction right now I feel they might get the FRRM/ shock army treatment soon.
This Still in the interest of still giving a helpful answer I do think some factions still tend to get overshadowed by others. For example I rank vanilla PanO pretty low because I will still almost always find what I want from PanO in a sectoral.
Druze seem very limited in what they can do, when compared with other sectorials, especially Ikari. They really need a wider unit selection and flexibility.
eh, to each there own. I think Druze is solid, just because they don't have a ton of units doesn't mean they're not viable. some sectorials have plenty of units but only a number comparable to Druze are used
Weakest does not mean unplayable. You can play with any faction the game isn't like some others where some factions literally can't win.
I rank Druze pretty low because of how inflexible they are... amusingly they where my hardest opponent in my last tournament.
