Ajax was a Myrmidon that was built too big and too dense. He earned his name later.

I thought Ajax was the prototype version of Achilles that got put into service later on with a normal Myrmidon consciousness piloting it.

Well at least he's not Oedipus. How awful that would be...

    DA CC weapon

ODD/smoke grenades. Could have been eclipse but that might be too good.

    Superjump.

Could have been Albedo to properly avoid the stare of MSV2 troops, but ODD is probably more usefull all around.

I've gotta say, CB did a great job of tying theme to mechanics on this guy. I've never really looked at Aleph so I've got no idea if the rest of the greeks mirror legend as well as this.

NWI fits the shield, he can take a hit and keep on going.

I always figured ODD is the shield because all Myrmidons have it.

Personally I would love for Perseus to run off with Andromeda. A Perseus/Andromeda Duo with a special Nomad only Andromeda profile would be sweet!

I guess she's not as bad now with the LoF errata. I agree it would be cool thematically, and Nomads getting a better Andromeda fits with us getting a better myrmidon lol!

Yup, the Perseus theme is nailed. The question is if he claimed the name, or was created as a recreation of the mythological Perseus like Achilles, Patroclus and Penthesilea.

All the other named myrmidons "earned" the name due to what they did/specialty. For example, Teucer and Ajax, who are also aware of the mythological relatioinship between the names and, at least Teucer, likes to play it like they are best buddies.
Atalanta, on the other hand, only has the sniper thing going on, and in fact she would have been more thematically deserving of the climbing plus than teucer, or to have some ambushed camo whatevs.
