Hi! Been a while since I posted, but here I am back with another conversion question, having successfully completed my pointing Swiss Guard a while ago.

    Situation's this:

I like Varuna, and I like Orcs. However, I'm not a fan of the new Patsy sculpt, and want to take a female head from a unit somewhere to replace it. I was looking at something open-faced with nice hair, like the VIP Executive from Dire Foes 4. However, that'd require extensive sawing - I was wondering if anyone knows offhand which female models have detachable heads? I can deal with the rest with Milliput.

One of the prime contenders were the Guijia Pilot and Yuriko Oda - not sure how attached their heads are, though.

Any advice and input appreciated as always. Thank you very much.

Check out Statuesque Miniatures, their pulp scale heads work wonderfully on modern Infinity minis.

@ThananRollice That's really cool! I really like the detail on her shoulderpad and gun.

Seconding this, they have done a marvelous job of providing a nice variety of expressions and headwear, and they go great for conversions. For the rest of the mini you seem to have a plan already, so i'm looking forward to progress pics :+1:

I had a look at Statuesque, but the heads there were unfortunately not what I was looking for. I also managed to find some dire foes unboxing videos, but more often than not the head is molded onto the main body. The Patsy model arrived today - head's molded on too, but the thin neck makes for easy beheading.

Any more suggestions, everyone? I'm thinking maybe the tech bee would be easy as a donor...

I used a blue stuff pressmold on the Dart SMG model! It's also how I made the diver's knife and the second pouldron.

Interesting! I actually considered getting some of the premade bases from CB. There's a few that have grenades lying around that I could either take or mold from
