Honestly...for that sort of line up id consider asa or nca i think. Actually probably asa as they have great tools for all those missions and I like ORC haris hmg 2×BSG
In my local group I see Aconticemento, NCA and MO being played very well. I myself love Varuna because it has good camo units and set up a mighty ARO. Plus Patsy is fantastic for objectives and classifieds. Pano is in a good place Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G930F met Tapatalk

I had some ASA lists written up but after testing I decided i wasn’t as comfortable with the lists as I am with Varuna. Although I own all the Shock Army stuff I’ve never played more than a handful of games with them. It’s a shameful admission but I don’t really play Shock Army. Maybe that will change after the Ruckus, but I kinda had my sights set on ForCo...
Foreign Company is a nice change for PanO players as it has some familiar faces along with a bunch of new toys. I say give the sectorial a try and see how you like it.
ForCo is weird, but I think it's also a challenging Sectorial with some respectable tools. I hate to say it, but if you just ignore the Aristos entirely and just build a list around infiltrators, Kriza Borac, Securitate + CSUs, you actually get a decent little force that will demand good play and is great for taking against new players/growing metas.
Yeah, it also ends up having very little actually PanOceanian stuff in it: Foreign Company ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 1 10 KRIZA BORAC HMG / Heavy Pistol, CC Weapon. This is basically how I've been playing it. Securitate/CSU core, Kriza, KTS Haris and then various skirmishers.
Well it is quite hilarious to see that just after quite a big shakeup of MO while some people are dead sold of that nuMO is all friendship&magic.
nuMO is much better - and much more fun to play - than the old one. It does have its own share of problems - especially regarding Teutons and wonky link team building (seriously, it's about as logical as the old British currency system) - and it is harder to play than the other three (which doesn't say much, given how well the others work right now), but it's still a very nice sectorial. There's a lot of space between "it's the best thing since inventing blowjobs" and "they've changed it, now I hates it" ;)
Nah, actually reading the topic for the first time and answering to some (relatevely dated) posts. Unfortunetaly I had/have no time for more elaborate posts atm.
More fun may be the case, there is definitely more stuff showing up in lists. But it's objectively not better as per the numbers. Bottom tier in all metrics, overall performance, WR, OP and flat out tournament wins. That unfortunately is a fact. Don't really see how personal oppinion can put up a fight against barely passing Druze benchmarks, but hey - think positive. Arguing that MO is hard to use works up to the point where you have to admit that the Skill ceiling is at least as high for making Vird or Ariadna work with their squishy 1W Skirmishers. Hi is often attributed with being "more forgiving" which contradicts a claim to nuMo requiring a better player to utilize their kit. MO also pays dearly to get the option to use CC without the classic/easy enablers like Smoke or Camo on top.
On a more real-world level, I do find that collecting PanO can be a colossal pain thanks to the sheer number of ordinary remotes needed in most Sectorials. Stores only have so many Dronbots, and they're less value per point in real money than most other units. If I actually wanted to bring a friend into the game I'd immediately suggest Invincible Army, simply because it's cheap. After a bit of thought, my biggest wishlist item would just be Auxbots with a few basic functions like Sensor or Total Reaction (with a bad gun) that can G:Synch to nearly anything like a Xenotech can, because being able to grab a 10$ blister instead of a 40$ box for basic army functionality would be fantastic.
@SpectralOwl The cost of REMs is rough. I take solace in the fact that they are, by far, the greatest combat veterans out of my entire miniature collection. The humble 4 dronbots I own have seen hundreds of engagements in the time I've owned them, having been used in every PanO list I've run. If you break it down as cost-per-game, each of my Dronbots costs me... Maybe 14 cents US, per game at this point? Not bad. Good return on investment. Compare that to, say, my Cutter... Which I love, but have only used a handful of times? Put the mini on thet able has cost me maybe $4 or $5 USD per game? Not a great return.
More AuxBots with more functions is right at the top of my list of "things CB could do to make PanO more awesome within setting".
The remote cost is a general Infinity problem and not restricted to PanO (even though we certainly take the top spot). The 8 point remotes are just way too good. Whatever my army is i always start all my lists with their full AVA. If i wanted to play invincible army i would need 2 packs of YaoKong (base remotes), 1 pack Panguling, 1 pack RuiShi/LuDuan. That's about 121 bucks in euros just for the remote coverage.
