Due to some incidents at work I was not able to paint over the last days. However I made a little progress on the Squalo and the Traumadoc. I need to paint the blue armor plates for the Squalo in order that someone will get the picture of the scheme I am aiming for. The legs will have some blue parts. The torso will remain mainly white/greyish with minor color accents in red and blue. It should match the color scheme of the Cutter.
After this evening I managed to paint and glaze all the blue armor parts of the Squalo. I hope one can get a better impression of the color scheme. Coming up next are the basecoat and glazing steps for the weapon and maybe some first highlight layers as well
I made some progress on the Squalo. Legs are close to be finished - only white areas need to be highlighted and cleaned up. The torso need some more work. The white areas need to be highlighted, the red parts need to be layered and highlighted as well. Freehands on shoulder, torso and arms need also to be done.
And proud you should be! Beautiful work. Love the Ultima Ratio on the gun :) Must feel very good to have the two big boys completed.
It does, even if I fail painting all miniatures completely until the Interplanetario, i still managed to have the center pieces painted. I am originally a Nomads player, now my Szally is really jealous as I have not yet completed the paintjob on my main faction TAGs ;-) I wish I would have had the courage to complete the motto on the other side of the gun. The complete motto goes „Ultima Ratio Panoceanem“. Maybe I will try again after the Interplanetario or with the second Squalo once the new model is released. Next model on the painting table is the Monstrucker. I want to paint him in a Panoceania Minescorp scheme from the TAG Raid game. The nomad engineer of that game is basically a Monstrucker. Here is picture as reference: The scheme will basically consist of blue and yellow with some highlights in dark grey, blueish brown and red. Here is the first WIP It is rather unfortunate that TAG raid is delayed that much. I would have preferred to use the TAG Raid miniatures with my Interplanetario list. The Minescorp engineer would have been a much better Tech Bee. I quite like the original Tech Bee as a model per se, but I think she looks way to pin up to be used alongside Jeanne d‘Arc. I also wanted to use the Minescorp prospector as a Jeanne d‘Arc in Cenobyte armour Jeanne d‘Arc conversion. The hacker would also be decent proxy for my Zulu …
Current WIP state of my X-Man-strucker I am more or less done with shading and already started with glazing. Next step will be some highlighting, maybe some OSL or even some freehand Minescorp Logos
The units motto is Ultima ratio Panoceanem, PanOceania's Ultimate Argument. I think "Ultima Ratio" written by the crew to the heavy grenade launcher is apt.
I just finished the paintjob on my Monstrucker I had to simplify the Minescorp logo for the cap. Even a Da Vinci 00000 brush was not precise enough for my skill level to paint the complete logo. On the back however there was plenty of room to paint the complete Minescorp logo Some challenges at work keep me away from the painting table. I will try to maintain the quality level of the paintjobs at least for Jeanne d‘Arc and maybe the Tech Bee as these two models are always present on the table in both of my lists for Vigo. I might skip painting the HVTs, maybe I can find some players that will lend me two of their painted HVTs. For the remaining models I will aim for have them at least painted with contrast colors. Coming up next Jeanne d‘Arc
