Well not plastic but still some terrain i've made. My buddy has a laser cutter so I created these. I'm just not sure how to paint them without loosing the burned etching. I'm thinking of getting wood stains.

If the etching is as deep as in photoetching, paint everything with fine layers to not clog the detail, then carefully paint the lower parts with thin paint, first the edges (a la pin wash), then the center zones. It will need some care, but should be doable.

Finally a small update. I got this Kirin figure on the weekend for $8! I thought that was pretty good price. It's from the D&D Fangs and Talons set. I'm not sure if I'll repaint it or enhance it with some washes and such. I think I'm going to keep the base as is though. I think this will look pretty cool on top of buildings.

Adding a single corn is mandatory here.

I'm not sure why they didn't do a horn. There's a bit of the main that's sticking up to look like it but why not just do the horn? Otherwise it's pretty cool. I've decided to just enhance the figure with some washes and dry brush. It's supposed to be a "statue" for terrain so I don't want too realistic.
