Depends on how you mean with clarified. It got an FAQ, but the FAQ has race conditions where certain terrain means you can't fulfil both going as far as possible from the start location and as close to enemy DZ as possible. I think we concluded that "close to DZ" has to ignore terrain, though. They basically took the rule on "without doubling back" out of the rules completely, so not really useful here.
