Opinions on TAK List

    I’ve been playing for a little less than a year and I’m still trying to figure out list necessities what do you all think of this list.

    I think you lack a backup heavy hitter, once the Vet Kazak HMG, which is also your LT, goes down, you lack offensive power. Also two more Line Kazaks that could fill out the link is nice, but they are in the wrong group to help out there. Two Streloks as forward objebtive grabbers is fine I think, though they could use more backup. Maybe something like this:

    Now one of the Tankhunters is your LT, you got three more Camo Markers in the midfield to ruin your opponents day and two more specialists in the link, also one Kazak Decoy LT, you loose out on having a Doctor though and still no second heavy hitter.

    My early army lists tended to look like this too and I certainly agree with @Asreon_ in that once that Vet HMG goes down, and they can go down, your list is down to rifles and shotguns. Not a great place to be in. Not to mention the LT in the link team is purely there too save you SWC, as he cannot spend the LT order to activate the fireteam. I guess you can use it for turn 3 rampage? Regardless your initial list had SWC to spare so save you some points on the Chain of command tankhunter, and make him a sneaky LT. as you also have plenty of rifle kazaks standing around nonchalantly that may eat up opponents orders if they find themselves greedy for a loss of lieutenant.

    The next question is the Uragan, are you talking it to TR things, or to guided missile things? If it's the later I highly recommend the Katyusha as the total reaction is a bit of a waste. Not to mention you usually need to feed the thing plenty of orders to fully fill the skies with rockets.

    I felt safe enough to get rid of chain of command because with the strelocks and 2 tank hunters you're looking at 8 camo tokens in midfield. That plus a decoy kazak your opponent is going to pull his hair out if he thinks he can force a loss of LT.

    I got rid of the doctor, as while I do like my medics, you'll find that medics in Ariadna are a gamble without the cube reroll. Plus you already have a dozer, multiple FO's and I tossed in a pair or irmandinhos for some cheap smoke and maybe they can do an objective as they scream across the board.

    I upgraded the uragan mul to the kuryer, as a flank guard he's slightly better because he also sets up landmines. But if you want you can trade out Kuryer for the regular Mul plus upgrading the tankhunter autocannon to a HMG spetznaz for more active turn murder and for some backup punch to the APHMG vet.

    And finally I made your 2nd combat group the more passive one, Irmandinhos don't use many orders if they don't need to and the Kuryer can lob a shot or two if the oppertunity presents itself. I assume your LT tank hunter is going to be the most passive out of the group.

    Thanks sorry just got the original post edited and yes I was using the mul for guided fire as I liked the AP+Shock ammo on it a lot.
