Well, today starts another week of "Hopefully we get Operation Wildfire" here in la-la land...Will the promised box come? Will our preorders be fulfilled? Tune in to the same time..same channel..
Honestly, they probably don't know. If their distributor had it, they'd send it to the store. They'll say something like "we expect it soon" because they need to provide a response. The store takes the brunt of the customer complaints, but this is a supply chain issue. From my experience, it's predictable from the Gen Con releases. It may be related to the size/weight of the incoming shipments. It may be due to the Gen Con prep for CB. Dunno. It's annoying, but it seems the only way to get a timely delivery is to A) buy it at Gen Con or B) direct order from CB.
Well, I did just get a fairly specific response. Apparently their shipment is being held up on the East Coast due to the "weather".
Cancelled my preOrder on the largest online store here around as the smaller one which had long delivery times (which I suffered through) the last GenCon releases had it on stock. I happily put together my cardboard terrain yesterday night. Good luck and patience to the ones still waiting!
Is it only me or does the Gamma head really fit bad on the body? Huge gaps in both sides! Gesendet von meinem BLA-L29 mit Tapatalk
Had the same problems. The body piece had some serious mold lines where the head piece' right "cheek tubes" were to connect, the head piece also had to be filed on the central attachment balk, and visible on your left photo are similar rough edges on the left arm's shoulder attachment that I had to file down. Generally the miniatures were without much in the way of mold lines, but those that my models had tended to be fairly robust and didn't just fall off when prodded like mold lines typically do. Also, all pieces with two handed grips on the gun piece and a separate arm (making a three piece attachment) had the common CB problem where they just didn't quite line up* and the Gamma was no exception. * It's like the larger gun-carrying piece is ever so slightly too small, making the (typically) left arm not align well leaving the hand that's molded to the gun piece not quite attached to its arm.
Absolutely not just you, plus the "collar" just seems to... stop, seemingly vanishing into a flat surface. It'll take a little green-stuff sculpting to fix, only my second model from CB ever to require it.
Well, my Speculo Killer that I ordered from a Spanish seller on eBay arrived yesterday. Gamenerdz says still awaiting fulfillment and my MoE Games Advanced Pack changed to shipped. Wonder if Gamenerdz got theirs finally.
Just got the gamenerdz shipping notification. its being shipped via dhl tho so it should be in my hands hopefully by the end of the year
I'm not serious but last time I ordered something it sat in dhl facilities in Texas and Ohio for three days each. Yeah, they used to but then changed to DHL for the free shipping. I'd rather pay the five bucks and have it here in four days than be free and wait 10+.
Average DHL time for Galicia to Western Caribbean: 4 Days Average DHL time for UK pickup to West Yorkshire: 1 week
