I think he was meaning physical design, rather than game design, the underbarrel Riotstopper is reminiscent off the Tanko's underbarrel blitzen.
I’ve played a LOT of NCA and Shock Army and high ava fugazi are by far one of my favorite design elements of the faction. I’ve been playing haqq for most of 2019 and the lack of 8 point flashpulses has been the biggest adjustment. So yeah; I agree, saying that building high order count lists with line troops and fugazi doesn’t count isn’t really a fair assessment. It all comes down to the faction, and for pano those units are essential.
The Fanous is an 8 point Flash Pulse bot. AVA 1 in Vanilla, 1 in HB, 3 in QK, and 3 in Ramah. They certainly don't lack them
And then Dahsat has access to 7 remotes of cost 8 or less. (3 flashpulses, 2 minesweepers and 2 traktors)
For sure. So far I’ve mostly played HB, and have been recently dabbling in vanilla. From the looks of it (this is all theory since I’ve only played one game with Ramah), building heavily towards Fanous in Ramah would achieve a similar layer of first turn AROs, while also getting you that bigger order pool to compensate for all of the 40-something point super soldiers. All of which is only to reinforce the point being made by fatherboxx that it’s not really fair to say that building out larger order pools with flashpulse remotes doesn’t count when considering whether a faction or sectorial can play a decent two group list.
My point was more in the meaning that there is difference between having the possibility of spamming all bots for getting a high model account, and beign forced to spamming them to get a high (but lower) one. Changing 3 of them to fusiliers has a cost of 6 points. But changing 2 to securitates has a 10 points cost for example, a higher cost
F5, F5, F5... I expect it around lunch, 12 o'clock or there abouts. The videos dropped around that time.
That's the reason I think more and more that I should play my KotHS combi+LGL or my good old Squalo HGL more and more. The Guarda seems good to with all his templates to lay down everywhere.
