I tried the pose in RL and it feels right if you are trying to climb up or over something while keeping an eye on something. Cutting the stone and replacing it with some box or some (more) canisters would probably make it a lil better. For me the Hellcat is much worse, but there's perfectly fine shotgun Hellcat already, so it's not much of a problem ^^

I genuinely like the Sombra, because it has a certain litheness to it, which fits well with the female aesthetic. I strongly dislike sidearm poses in general, however, so it would be interesting to know if the weapon on the back could be reasonably easily converted to be held in the right hand instead.

Consistency in what they are standing/kneeling on would be good for me as some are rocks and others equipment so no idea which way to go with bases

It takes away development time. While they are working on new profiles and stuff for Kosmoflot it's time they aren't working on fixing profiles in other places. They do not have multiple development teams, so while a new sectorial is being made everything else just kind of sits. We don't even have the new Fireteam rules yet and those were supposed to come out with or shortly after N4 released.

I don't play Ariadana so I don't have any stake in this in particular but I think I might be getting this same thing happening to Yu Jing and ISS in a while. Instead of fixing the sectoral, they will dump it and make a new one. I'd rather they just fix what they have.

It's not big, you're just noticing how tiny she is with the same rifles the men have instead of having custom made girl sized rifle. Since she wasn't given a tiny baby gun. I really wish they would stop flip flopping on this and keep gun sizes consistent. They did a great job of in in the TAK starter. Everyone had the same sized guns and it looked great. Then they followed it up with the TAK spec ops and she had all tiny ugly baby sized guns again, with the exception of the heavy pistol.

With the exception of the Zenit. I think all the female models in the set look really good Nomad and Ariadna. O-12 has mostly been a massive disappointment on that front.

I overall really like the design of the Sombra. I just don't like it in Corregidor. Her design leans hard on the Kriza Borac. And would have looked much better as a Tunguska unit.

Very true but it's been so long for some, like ISS for example, to get new models they might as well be new. They can also give them new troops. For instance, they have never had a TAG.

But they could easily do a new Su Jian, Bao, Sforza, Sun Tze, Pheasant.

Agree. Sombra is my fave too. But I think a tactical mechanical looking something instead of the rock-piece would fit her better, but they have already a whole console on the Hellcat (and I doubt BSG is specialist).

I need to stop looking at them. The SAS model has an axe without a cover, with the blade positioned at shoulder/head level...

I don't know if CB understands how carrying things works anymore.

I really like the new models and will definitely buy the box:)

I always feel like there are too few women models in wargames, and while infinity is better than several other companies, I still wish there were more female models. Very happy to see that there seems to be 4 women on the ariadna side!

Since Crimson Stone takes place in the Hlökk Station situated in the Brisingamen Asteroid Belt of the Concilium system both of the rock and mechanical junk on the bases somehow make sense. Still in anything higher than a model's ankle is way too much useless crap on a base IMO.

Obviously those Corregidorans don't take cleaning and tidy workplaces serious so they have to deal with all this big junk on their bases. ;)

I think they do the mix quite well. CJC has three out of seven - that makes 50 % in the whole box, not counting Wolfgang ;-)

Yes a SAS should be more carful. I also see that and thinked, oh that looks dangerous for herself ;-) And I think, the axe is not the weapon of choice for an SAS, but its Ariadna, there should be axes...

Thats all conjecture, we really don’t know their development cycle 100%. MO and SWF coming out so close to each other show it is possible to do multiple Sectorials of the same faction.

Also this is like really late to complain about the development of Kosmo, it has already been out for a year. Crimson Stone is just delivering models that have already had rules.

Oh I complained about it when it was first made into a sectorial as well. Just frustrating that instead of updating models in other factions, or fixing severely underpowered factions, they make a new sectorial that is more or less Ariadna NA2.

Best part is that Kosmoflot is effectively a retcon of the Ariadnan Expeditionary Force(AEF), which was Merovingian and Caledonian based...because USARF was busy dealing with Antipodes and Kazaks didn't want to play if they weren't in charge.

The Su-Jian, Phesant and Sun Tze all have 3D Sculpts which aged quite well. Ok they could redo Bao and Marksman Sun Tze but ISS is actualy in realy good shape overall. Sforsa is in defiance and hopefully we will see general release aswell soon (shouldnt be such problem when one render is allready done). Yes ISS is the "oldest" YJ sectorial rightnow, but they have most models released in the 3D standart which is preaty good state for me when I am considering new sectorial to start with.

At this size and detail level I'll just paint black over the end of the axe blade as if it had a rubber protector and call it a day.

You could fairly easily paint a leather sheath over the axe head. Still not ideal carrying position….

Good points but all the more reason to come out with new troops! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I didn't know there was a new Sforza but if it's in Defiance, it's going to be along time before we see another.

As far as this set goes, I think for the most part they look pretty cool. Nomads more than Kosmo. I love how they painted the guns differently on the Alquaciles.
