Your Tohaa are amazing. I'm loving the different take on the Spiral color scheme, it's giving me a ton of ideas for my own WIP Spiral. The teal and blue of the armor/cloth is super sharp. Can't wait to see more!
Glad you like them and that you can use some ideas for yourself. As soon as I have figured out how to paint Symbiobombs/mates there will be more, both the Kaeltar are done already . Greetz Oni
Hiho, Finally the Kaeltar and Symbiomates/bombs are ready. I made so much stupid mistakes that my motivation got a serious dent. But now after they are finished thats long forgotten and I really look forward to some bigger beasts. I just have to learn to take better not so much overlighted pictures. Hope you like them. Spoiler: Kaeltar 1 Spoiler: Kaeltar 2 Spoiler: Symbio Spoiler: Group Greetz Oni
Hi, Got something new. First Lizard-Dragon-Battle Cat is finished. Really like how it turned out, painting skin was a great variation to the armor and fabrics. Just should have taken more thought on the colours, the (Studio) paintsceme doesn`t fit my bases to well . Spoiler: Surda 1-1 Spoiler: Surda 1-2 Spoiler: Surda 1-3 Greetz Oni
It'd be a shame to repaint those models to look better against the bases, so do you have some grass or lichen to add to the bases? Something rather orange, for preference?
In that case repainting is not an option . I was thinking of some kind of corral but im not sure of the colour. I tend to something violet but orange would fit as well. Thank you for your suggestion.
My color wheel suggests a rather red-orange to best set off the teal-green of the beasts. You should be able to find some lichen about that color in the model train stores.
I will have a try. Due to my lack of imagery i will take a finished base with me next time I go to the big city. Than I can look for fitting red-orange lichen. Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. Greetz
Hi, After literally 4 months that mini was on my Painting table and mocking me about my inability to paint it porperly(repainted it three times), it is finally done. Spoiler: Surda 2 Spoiler: Surda Grp Hope you like it. Not my best, but im soooooo happy that i dont have to waste a singel brushstroke on it ever again.
Thank you. Yeah it is quite decent, but not 4 months decent. No im just kidding, i like it. But Sometimes there is a mini that gives you a serious dent in your painting motivation. Especially when the mini was one of the reasons you started that faction. But with that out of the way the motivation is back and the next tohaa mini is already on the painting table. Yeeeeeah Tohaa
Hi, The Kerail Perceptors are done. It has been a long time for 28 Points ;). Kerail Spoiler: Kerail 1 Spoiler: Kerail 2 I tryed stippling here for the first time, all the green bags and straps are stippled. And a Group shot. Spoiler: Group Hope you like them, next one is Neema and a Tagmaa.
Hi, Neema is finished and ready to lead the charge against the EI. She was really a joy to paint, such a nice mini. Spoiler: Neema Spoiler: Neema 2 Spoiler: Neema 3 Hope you like her. Edit: Alternative views of her.
Thank you guys. The great thing about this mini is the variation. Armor Plates, Symbiont Armor, the strange arm ??ammunition?? belts, Artichoke Hair and a similar to human Face. You dont get bored on this one. Neema has so much character :). @LeeroyVinland It is really hard for me, you can believe me that, but Tohaa will not be played until all minis are painted (or at least everthing whats in my list).
Got in the mood to paint a little bit of JSA again. Here is my try on the purple Oniwaban. Spoiler: Oniwaban Picture 1 Spoiler: Oniwaban Picture 2 Hope you like him.
