I do like most of the renders, though it's amusing that you get 3 cheerkillers with Ava2 (maybe Tunguska is more). On the other hand, the O12/ CA packs seem to have too few of the units inside. Still no Varangians though, so wierd.
This I agree with. As I've said earlier, I'm not 100% sure the balancing will be spot on this time around. I just don't plan on spending next two weeks worrying about it. Focusing on good aspects of the upcoming changes is simply much more fun for me. Why have a hobby if I can't enjoy it?

It's par for the course now, unfortunately, that you get those shady gatekeeper characters who think they can decide what kind of opinions one is "allowed to" have or not. It's the same kind of bullshit as in RL politics when as a patriot you get concerned with the direction your country is heading towards and expect transparency and course correction from the government while the bootlickers of those currently in power attempt to forcefully exclude you from the whole dialogue by stating "if you don't like it here, leave the country". But so far we've seen only a few glimpses of a much larger picture. Using it as a basis for judgement reminds me of that story about blind people touching a part of an elephant and trying to describe the whole animal. The fact that you've touched the trunk does not mean that the whole thing is slim, mobile, and snake-like.
When did anybody here say it's power creep if all units get improved? I already reasoned why I highly doubt the closest profiles to the new ones presented are gonna be able to match them but I suppose reading is overrated.

New profiles all look sick, N4 is gonna be great. Really excited to play with all these troops and the O-12 renders were absolutely gorgeous. Really psyched to see what the Nyoka Profiles and minis are too as the art is sexy af.
Was there a release date on this? It's likely that the Defiance Jayths will still release before this preview, although I agree that the general release one looks a little better.
Hmm N4 is shaping up pretty wild so far. Ariadna into space, Haqq gets hi-tech, Nomads blur the lines between HI and MI. If this goes on, PanO will get a smoke throwing warband, the Zencha will get shock immunity, and Tohaa might actually get a release!
Sooo... I like most of the renders, for example Razor and that wild chick with baseball bat ;) And especially Noctifier, which is nicely updated and still inspired by the traditional old guy - even with the stairs :) But ruleswise - I just don't know. Ofcourse we have to wait for the whole N4 to be able to look at this from good perspective, but at first glance I'm a bit worried about the new shiny Nomad stuff. Another model with Burst 5, on a rem with STR2, high stats, albedo and option to be buffed, really? Some EVAs with bunch of cool abilities, BS13, ARM/BTS3, nice weaponry, specialist, climbing, and for 24pts?... :| Weird, weird. PozdRawiam / Greetings
I'am still waiting for some Kaldstrom profiles showed as N4, because I'am really curious of what Winterforce will become. For now I have enjoyed really the new profiles they sowed us. Looking with N3 eyes I see most of them really "powerfull", some cheap (too much) oders a little expensive, but in general all good profiles. I'am "diying" to know how the whole hassasins remains in N4, and, of course, to play with. Acontecimento... I will have to wait (sigh). About what others said about Powercreep, I can deny latest profiles, most of them, looks more "cheaper" and "good" as the old ones, but if we think well about it, for example as an Acontecimento player I have to say I still can use lists I played with in N2 without problem, in an almost exactly copy, and have fun and win games, so, "no problem here". Maybe I don't see a lot of thing in "Infinity" as "powercreep" because to me that means "all the people who play that thing --powercreeped--" is fighting for the victory in the latest tables of every tournament. Maybe still we will see some kind of correction in the future, Carlos (aka Bostria) said at the start of the video something like "If nothing is wrong this will be the profies". So they know it could be some kind of mistake. Not the first time, not the last. XD
This is pretty easy to answer: Assuming, everyone gets cheaper or better profile for the same cost. Then suddenly, when playing a 300-points game in the new edition, I am playing with 350 points worth of the old edition. Battles get larger and more deadly. For me this is a kind of power-creep. Take an extreme example: SWC all drop to zero. Now every profile would use an SWC weapon (or equipment), because the points costs alone don't keep them in check. Would be a completely different game, more deadly and IMO less fun. Same might happen here, to a lesser extent. I say might. I don't know if the new Nomads profiles are too good. Yes, Evaders look pretty good and make the Grenzcats Profile even less understandable. But Sombras and the new REM look expensive to me. I might be wrong, maybe they are THE new thing, but I don't see myself take them everytime when playing Corregidor or Vanilla. Here everything depends on the rest of the profiles. If Bandits stay the same price, I'd prefer a Bandit over the Sombra.
