Lots and lots of chocolates, given for apparently no reason other than "I was at the store for something else and saw these". Not lots at any one time, maybe one every other week for a while.
My repeater is behind a yu jing firewall for the remainder of the kickstarter campaign so I can't do it myself, can some peeps maintain an information/shill thread on /tg/ and plebbit? Need 25 more whales to unlock the Prototype HMG stretch goal at 200,000 britbong funny moneys
210,000 stretch goal has been added, it's a second Rui Shi core for RDL. With a name like that it must be good.
The correct terminology it ten million shiny tuppences, which'd get a sweep up ev'ry Chimney in Landun and still av' change fer sum eel pies! (circa 1901) not sure what a cost equivalent rate of exchange would be in European monopoly money or American green toilet roll. Nice pinting out the last goal is some Rui Shi, i wonder if that faction has access to smoke launchers?
Rui Shi and big FO katana have fallen. Now at £222000 and change. Kicktraq says trending for £234K. 230k stretch: GoF missile backpack 240k: modification kit in each box 250k: another prototype component - fairy something, looks like wings maybe
Backed it but the dude hasn't even finalised the manufacturer yet or started on the engineering of the production process. there's no way they're turning this around in less than a year but I'm in no rush. Plenty of games I haven't got time to play already!
That the whole design and production process is concentrated in China is a rare twist and pretty much uncharted territory right? It's not like they have to wait for shipping to Vigo to find out the cards were printed gutter oil or something like that so it might speed things up. It's inexpensive and convenient to get from Beijing where the studio is located to Guangzhou/Shenzhen where I imagine the factories are by bullet train and they all speak the same language. The annoying thing is that they are doing open house playtesting all four weekends of next month and I am leaving China in a couple of days, how cruel.
More the issue that they've not got a manufacturer yet. Factory production slots generally not available at the click of a finger and they've got to design every component for mass production from scratch. That's a really big job. If they've got to wait 7 months for a production run for example, that's a huge delay before they've even really got running. The fact it's just a dude and not a company with staff means packing will need to be outsourced if it's not gonna take months and months. Then it's got to ship!
No, not really. I've seen several other KS where it has worked just fine. Also seen a KS fail because someone tried to find a cheaper factory in China than the one the designers had selected.
