    Hidden in today's video:

A Kappa with Feueueurbach? A Sensor/MSV trooper? A Dual profile with infiltrator?

Rarely have we had chance to speculate so much with so little information!

I'm curious too. Could be Cho too!

Given O-12 hero blister might be regular Saladin, that still push the need for a regular Cho release.

I think the hero will be the primary release of Hippolyta.

I'm really hoping that one of the boosters will be the Epsilon HMG. Would really nice if they put him and the Marksman rifle one in the same pack.

As for the dire foes. I'm think well see some weapon the Kappas lack. Riotstopper, Multirifle, Light shotgun, fingers crossed for maybe a plasma carbine.

Bets on the O-12 Hero being the alternate Goldstein profile?

I would love for it to be the other Goldstein profile. His I usually dont harp too bad on posing but his beyond release was one of the few truly and genuinely terrible posed models. Even to the point that a massive amount of conversion work hasnt been able to fix it. They also really should have done a CCW/pistol/both pose for his first release. (I think all CC specialized characters with multiple weapon profiles should go down this route for their primary release.) Then they wouldnt have to do a second one anytime soon.

And as much as I would love his SMG profile to be the hero model. Since he did get a general release in the beyond box; I can't see it happening. Hippolyta was the limited edition model for the Wildfire box and I feel she wont likely be carried over to the action packs and Cho won't see a general release until post Defiancr. Though I could be way off.

The "Action Packs" contain the Beyond stuff...which is why I could see it being the other Goldstein profile, to 'encourage players to try out different things!'.

Remember that Hippolyta is an ALEPH model as well, and we'll likely see some heavy revamps of the Greek side of things in 2021.

Hippolyta is also very recent, and fairly similar to Eudoros so as much as we shouldn't read too much into things, I see that as a sign that they are over-all fairly happy with the direction of the Greeks that they continue that direction with a new character that is informed by the ideas they have going towards N4. I'm expecting the best a sectorial can hope for is the Military Order N3.1 style remake.

I'm struggling to identify what is missing in O-12, what a Kappa could bring that makes it a valuable asset. You can't really do a Xi Zhuge because we already have Gangbusters. Cyberghosts crowds the hacking space, so a Kerr-Nau or Leila will be a bit difficult to make unique. Maybe a Psi Operative as base? However, Cho is very slimmed down and kept very cheap - maybe a more extravagant Psi Operative leaning more towards combat mechanics?
A Dire Foe will more likely be dictated on the needs of the coming sectorial and what it can do to complement a Fireteam. E.g. we could possibly see one of the rare non-HI Tinbot A to enable a info-war fireteam if Cyberghosts become Wildcards in that sectorial.

I'd love a camo specialist tbh, I think Gangbuster and Sirius are great, but we could use an alternative to them
We don't have a camo precedent tho, right?

I was thinking Cho vs Victor or Aida, whichever is oldest sculpt outside of Defiance, but eh. The mention of Saladin seems possible, but he seems too "big" for a Dire Foes, really. They're usually individual unique mid-tier folks, which Cho seems perfect for. In either case, since I'm getting Defiance, if it's a character from there I probably won't bother.
So maybe something new & interesting.

I think we will get a Kappa of some kind. Cho will not be release before defiance, Saladin is too big of a deal for such a box, Cuervo already has a mini and Hyppolita is also and maybe primarily an Aleph mini. I could see them going with some super veteran guy being a leader of kappas or something. Kinda Sgt. Telion in 40k Smufs maybe?

well, with Wildfire + Beyond Wildfire being repacked as the 10 model "O-12 Action Pack", and thus not containing Hyppolita (who was a pre-order bonus), she does seem a likely choice for the blister hero. Alternatively, since Carlos mentioned on Mayacast that they don't want impetuous orders in Code One, it could very well be someone new.

    re: a Dire Foe?

These new ones are pretty far removed from their origins as line infantry... really it could be anything. A named gangbuster or epsilon is just as likely as a modestly upgraded kappa.

I'm hoping for a named cyberghost or razor since we've not yet seen either of them with model - worst case I can use it to proxy the base unit that way.

Have we seen what an Epsilon is? Medium Infantry with a visor seems something useful vs a singular shasvaasti?

I still think Cho vs Messer would be good, but what would the VIP be? A Shasvaasti defecter would be cool!

Could work I guess, but I'd assume they had the Dire Foes planned before Defiance buyers went nuts for a random token they had to rescue.

Oh, also, we don't actually know when the Dire Foes: O12 will be released, so it might be after Defiance ships either way.
