I see NCO on the Bolt. Maybe switch bio immunity by NCO and give them 10-10 movement Hexa counter intelligence will be so fluff and give a shiny toy to NCA. Of course, like you I hope see a rule for Aquila. Lt Lvl 1 or 2 maybe E/M Lgl is a sweet dream. If aquila can join Haris this will be wonderfull
What I expect to see: Bolt Haris Mixed links of Fusiliers and ORCs Wildcard on Clipper ML What I'd like to see: Aquila HMG NCO Strategos on Aquila Lt (to make something else than Fusi Lt viable) Heavy or Assault Pistol for Swiss Guard Some close range weapon for Uhlan Something for Bipandra or just cheaper price In faction drop trooper with profile like Raoul Spector (pure wishlisting this one, I just don't like Garuda that much) Done. I don't care that much about Bolts. Don't own them, don't want to buy them. Something like Counter Intelligence on Hexas would be nice but not if it raises the cost. Also different Auxilia profiles would be nice, but I'm perfectly happy with the one we have now. NCA really doesn't need much and we have already got many nice things with new Deva profiles and Aida.
That would be quite logical and would compensate for the fact that three of the most mobile troops (Aquila / Hexa / Swiss) are unable to do some of the classified objectives designed for Veteran/Elite since they have Headquarters Troops classification.
Good point. At least Aida is getting / got her character status back. But yes, would it be broken to let HQ troops do what Elites and Veterans do? As they should be superior anyways?
Or drops HMG in favor of second Zweihander. Which he will dual-wield with the first one like Barbarian in Diablo 2 :P
From across the table, I find Bolts really interesting and they're one of the few things that would make me want to play the otherwise bland AF NCA faction. I'd love to see some interesting mixed link options that make them the A-team for NCA. And giving people reasons to -not- take boring Fusilier fireteams is always a plus.
I got into NCA because of Bolts Not only they're beautiful minis, but they're a toolbox I want to use at their full potential. Sure it is hard, but when I manage to play them correctly, they shine. Veteran is a very nice rule. A drop in points and/or Tactical Awareness/NCO would be great though.
Why don't we just give the Swiss a bump up to S5, but retaining its TO Camo? Stealth Hulkbuster mode and whatnots.
But they do, they add bikes. And bikes are damn cool. Sidenote, motorized Montesa is now the closest to what a knight should be. Knights were first and foremost a cavalry unit after all.
