    Hey guys.
I am a bit total noob, never played 300pts fights and never with ocf ... and wanted to have opinions on the following list I made

    glwEb255eAtPbnl4IDMwMCAxM4EsAgEHAYHuAYbhAAKB7gGG4AADhewBAQAEge0BAQAFge0BAgAGge0BAQAHge0BAQACBgGCEgEHAAKB8AECAAODxQECAASCFAEBAAWC5QEBAAaB/AEBAA==

The philosophy of this army is not to deploy the 2 fracta s and ko Dali.
This is what the e drone is for (combat jump), then support the M-drone
If playing first the idea is to combat jump where most appropriate and wreck havoc where most pertinent (hacking hi or rem, gain prtheion wounds for kodali, spitfire long-range people etc etc) . If this alpha strikes succeed I think it will be panick in the enemy lines
Then the idea is to place the m drone as reactive troop to cover strategic pass, cover mid terrain with unidrons and ikadron
And take out from far away With the two hmgs

I am not convinced by the maakrap... looks weak and expensive ... but it s because I don t want to spend too much money on the minis but I am pretty sure it s not a super good choice ... but the miniature is superb and I like the rule of cool :D
Bit and kiss seems fun and I think could help covering mid terrain with repeater, adhesive launcher etc. Looks decent to me for 20 pts ?

If playing second ... I am afraid alpha strikers would wreck the maakrap and suryat easily making me loose big part of my firepower

So does all of this holds up somehow or it s full of BS ?
Are there "big mistakes" or huge "holes" ?

    Thanks guys

    Heyo,

first of all, is there a specific mission that you're building the list for? Depending on the mission, roster will look differently.
Are there any specific models that you want to try out? I assume you want to give ADs a try. 3 is it a bit too much, in my opinion, as you'll be short on orders due to that.
Unidron core without a reactive ARO piece looks pointless.
I'd go with something like this:

    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    GROUP 1[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]10
NEXUS (Lieutenant, Specialist Operative) Combi Rifle / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 16)
NEXUS (Specialist Operative) Combi Rifle / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 16)
    KERR-NAU Plasma Rifle, D-Charges, Pitcher / Breaker Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 27)
    UNIDRON Plasma Sniper Rifle / Pistol, PARA CC Weapon(-3). (1.5 | 24)
    UNIDRON Plasma Carbine / Pistol, PARA CC Weapon(-3). (0 | 14)
FRAACTA Spitfire, Nanopulser / Pistol, CC Weapon. (1.5 | 33)
    Q-DRONE Heavy Machine Gun / PARA CC Weapon(-3). (1 | 25)
    ÍMETRON . (0 | 4)
    GREIF-OP (Surprise Attack [-3], Impersonation [IMP-2]) Combi Rifle, D-Charges / Breaker Pistol(+1B), CC Weapon. (0.5 | 20)
Bit (Hacker [UPGRADE: Oblivion, UPGRADE: Trinity]) Submachine Gun, Pitcher ( | Deployable Repeater) / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0.5 | 20)
    [IMG] KISS! (Repeater) Adhesive Launcher / PARA CC Weapon(-3). (0 | 5)

    GROUP 2[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]5
IKADRON (Baggage, Repeater) Light Flamethrower(+1B), Flash Pulse / Pistol, PARA CC Weapon(-3). (0 | 9)
    R-DRONE Flash Pulse / PARA CC Weapon(-3). (0 | 7)
    E-DRONE Combi Rifle / PARA CC Weapon(-3). (0.5 | 18)
    MED-TECH OBSIDON MEDCHANOID Combi Rifle, D-Charges ( | GizmoKit, MediKit) / Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 22)
KO DALI (Parachutist, Combat Jump) Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, D-Charges / Assault Pistol(+1B), AP CC Weapon. (0 | 39)
    SLAVE DRONE PARA CC Weapon(-3). (0 | 3)
    SLAVE DRONE PARA CC Weapon(-3). (0 | 3)

E-drone is more useful in this configuration, it can buff plasma unidron, q-drone, give ADs assisted jump.
If you're not afraid of enemy knowing immediately who's your LT is, you can replace 1 decoy nexus with another unidron, that will give you 2pts that you can use elsewhere.
Greif operator IMP profile is amazing, as it's a cheap model that you're not afraid of losing, and it can start next to enemy deployment zone, and if caught off guard can do a lot of work, especially handling those annoying mimetism-3 flash bots.

Roster that I've ran lately and kinda liked:

Thanks a lot for your answer.

For the moment we are not really playing scenarios but only skirmishes with random map to first familiarise with the rules, armies , weapons rosters etc.

So I am actually a bit puzzled and I must miss several things :
    1. You are proposing Nexus operative. Why ? I don't understand in what they are better than unidron batroid (better weapon and more skills). Because they are hackable rems?

2.a why do you say a unidron core without aro piece is pointless.
2.b What do you exactly define as being an "aro piece" ?
Honestly they looked super cool for me to quickly move them in the middle of the map, with template weapons and one ignoring ARM, so it will be hard to to face the group with ftf rolls

3.what about the batroid plasma sniper ? A sniper with BS11 didn t really look great for me to spend 1.5swc points into it ?
The Hmg with msv or HI with firewall looked better to me but I guess we can t really compare

    4.medchanoid
So far I never had the opportunity to see a healing action being more useful than any offensive move ... but maybe it s because we played so far only small armies?

One of the OCFs weaknesses is obvious lieutenants. And losing your LT might significantly hinder your plans. You might wanna read a bit about it, if you haven't done already. So idea of 2 Nexus operatives is to have a LT in your back, and decoy, because information about who's your LT is private, so enemy would had to guess which one of them is a real LT.

Benefit of running a 5-men core is to get that +3BS bonus when your core is full.
Usually, ARO piece is something that slows down the enemy, forces him to make alterations to his plan, drain his orders in order to deal with ARO instead of the main objective. In this case, Plasma Sniper Unidron is good, as if you're going first, you can buff it with e-drone giving him marksmanship, which will allow him to hit on up to 17 (base 11, +3 bonus for range, +3 bonus from fireteam), depending on where and what is attacking. Dogged means that if he takes a hit, you can make him still stand, if you really want enemy to keep on spending orders. in worst case scenario, it will take at least 2 orders to kill it, as removing him in 1 order from the table is really unlikely due to double unconscious state thanks to remote presence.
If you're not interested in running core for ARO, then I'd still recommend getting a 5th member of the core for that +3BS bonus.
If you're planning on using it more aggressively, then I'd suggest adding a profile with tinbot, as they are hackable.

Dr Wurm is there to bring back up your important pieces, such as q-drone, maybe PSR unidron, R-drone. Unidron and q-drone are also great not only in ARO, but as active pieces, while R-drone is really annoying to deal with for enemy due to mimetism. REMs are quite difficult to kill off the bat, since in N4 when they become unconscious they go prone, like the others (they couldn't in N3), means that if they're on a roof, it's very likely that enemy won't be able to finish them off.
Keep in mind that once unit is repaired/healed, they automatically cancel prone state, so R-drone and Q-drone can get back to their ARO duty without spending extra orders.
