Box of 2, Yojimbo-sequel pose leaning out of the bike sweeping a sword, and spitfire shooting over the handlebars.

You heard it here first. Spitfire and universal proxy.

This would actually be a good box. I'm all for it.

Hmmm not much more Fantasy than Swords I'd say, if you're moving on fast things like horses or motorcycles and insist on melee, a lance seems way more reasonable than a sword to me, even in the far future :-P

True to an extent, but we already have swords aplenty. Lances would up the fantasy vibe :P

Yeah, I feel like a lance would be a step far. Like the scythe on the JSA biker (Kuroshi?)

Is it wrong that I'd like to see knights armed with shock-truncheons or electro-maces rather than swords. It's a little more believable, but still sci-fi enough.

It'd be cosmetic. I like the idea of CC knights charging forward, fronted by an in-built shield (think RX-79 Ez8 Gundam), trailing a crackling electro-mace. Colour-coded to the weapon type naturally (I really like that little touch).

Medkit is garbage and not even +3 on a PH10-3 roll would save it.

    I really hope it's a lance. oh god I hope it's a lance.

Thematically that would be really cool – practically I don't think they'd cast something like that, and then make me put it together

I disagree. The -3 is the one thing that makes paramedics one of the most useless things in the game. 35% chance to bring back most troops is ass - in a desperate situation it can be fun to come back from the brink on low odds, but usually it makes your limited order pool and dead guy simply more depressing. Its the same problem woth most automedkits in the game. Bringing it to a flat coin toss or better is more reasonable, and in armies with good PH, or with HI, could be highly valuable.

to be fair, automedkit is just a straight PHY roll so it isn't as bad as a normal medkit. the odds are usually in your favor with those.

Most Tohaa with a Symbion in inactive Symbiont state has PH11, Sukeul (the big girls in the group, because they have Mimetism and shoot like Kamau. Yep, that's count as good shooting in Tohaa) has PH10, Neema has PH12. You'll see lot more Sukeuls than Neema though. So you have PH10-11, that's 50-55% chance to bring your troop back, that's pretty rough, and you also need to spend orders, to get to him/her. Since everyone can be in a Triad, getting to the patient is not too hard, you still have a big chance of just killing your troop. Plus symbion never gets activated again, so you are stuck in battle ravaged mode. That's usually all the armor (which was a paperbox to start with, not much loss there), but you are also loosing some nice skills, most notably Sukeul's mimetism (or Bioimmunity, Holoprojector, Nanoscreen on other troops).

So you are spending orders to get there, another to maybe kill your own troop, and what you get back is a three quarter assed version of it.

I like when Tohaa comes in to other faction's discussions and act like Tohaa are bad.

You should have seen the guy, who said Ariadna should be brought up to speed with HMG Spetsnaz.

+ there's no coming and going, I've started with Pano, then branched out to Tohaa.
