Yeah, completely forgot that they already have an actual MULTI MMR.
Well, at least, unlike MULTI Rifles which are actually MULTI Combi Rifles, that one doesn't have +3 within 0...8 inches :yum:

I tried them both on first day (using thé high price for army in doubt). Mind that i only got to use them on réactive turns (as my opponent managed twice to get the master inconscious).

In ARO they are pretty much identical except the 0-8 range band in favor of RF. Didn't get to Burst 5 something sadly.
I Guess that's part of the tax. But with the bsg/FO dude at 11pts i don't think the RF will see much sunlight

    Right.

Well, B3 -> B4 is often accompanied with 1.5-2 SWC cost tbh. Think spitfires over something more basic, especially on 2W models (which puppers almost are). Sure, you don't get significant rangeband improvement unlike it is with going from, say, Rifle to HMG/Spitfire, but it's also not +7 pts or so.

Speaking of losing AP... Honestly, I'm not sure what kind of meta you have to face that it ends up being serious issue. Besides, it's not like Tunguska (or Vanilla) lacks in tools to deal with units that happen to have high ARM, although I guess costs within sectorial kinda force you to specialize...

The APMMR with Shock is definitely very cool. Cooler than the RF.

Are there any hints which Tunguska units will come next so we can plan what proxies we need to build?

As a Corregidor player with my choice between one MULTI or one Breaker I understand.

Ha. Total reading comprehension failure on my part. I have a bad habit of missing parenthetical skills on Army profiles.

    Ain't that a Multi Rifle?

Or do you want a B3 DAM13 Light Multi weapon with +3 from 0-24" and 0SWC?

PanO should probably have MMRs yeah.

I think they are very cool, would love a Nomad MMR.

I also think PanO has the design and fluff space for counterintelligence. Maybe on Hexas unless it doesn't work when hidden deployed.

I agree. I think we'd see some really interesting NCA lists. Maybe Varuna will have it? For dealing with Healots? It would be better on a new unit that is available to all the sectorials though. CI could be a fluffy faction feature for PanO.

Vanilla was already good. Puppetmaster is basically a must take cheerleader in the majority of Nomad lists.

I don't really think it's a must take. If I'm already rocking a 15+ order list, I don't really care if I'm getting docked two orders or just one. Where it really starts to shine is in those 12-13 order lists. Then I can see including it every time.
