I still think Corregidor has the easiest time with Tohaa than the other two Nomad sectorials. But I haven't even played Tunguska against them yet.
Moiras are worse than Grrls. Mixed Securitate / Grenzer link is a LI link. Wildcats are ok and entirely playable but they're hardly top tier. Meanwhile: Grrls are probably the best link in the game. Securitate link is up there for best defensive LI link going. Jag link is one of (if not) the best low cost links in the game. Our MI links aren't really the faction's selling point. How many MI are even in Tunguska?
Without a gunner profile they don't really compete so I don't think there's a balance problem between them and Wildcats however. If you want one the other can't replace it. I think Wildcats are fine because they're in Corregidor. Corregidor isn't a link focused sectorial.
Wildcats are way cool. Cheap BS 13? SSL2 AHD with loads of in-Sectoral Repeaters? DTWs? Spitfire? Yes please, I'll have that. Moiras are differently good. ODD on a 5 man link is nice, and I love their mixed capability with Healers, Kusinagi etc. I have used both regularly and rate them both very highly. Jaguars and Grrls are great too, Securitate are pretty amazing. The state of Nomad links at the moment is pretty tasty, and surprisingly cheap.
Congrats, another faction can experience the joy of dual (tanky) TAG lists. In fact, this sectorial looks so awesome (both rules and visuals) that I am tempted to collect my first nomad army. The Securitate redesign is amazing, now thats a proper LI linked team. Not only are they BS 12 but they even include an option with repeater for old times sake. Not to mention BS 15, burst 3 Feuerbach. O.o The Securitate is as much of a workhorse as the Fusiliers in NeoTerra. The main "weakness" of the faction is a lack of MSV 2 but honestly, you have SO many ways to deal with camo in this faction its hardly a problem. Also, Hecklers with Jammers. Now another faction that has Jammers, the nightmare spreads. Sigh. lol I hate Jammers.
I think the Grenzer link could be the best defensive link out of tunguska. BS 13, sensor, and biometric visor can stop infiltrators trying to sneak up on them or even your other units.
Thats a very expensive defensive link. I think its better just to put a Grenzer or two in your Securitate link.
A comic done a few months back by @SmaggTheSmug. I don't know if people have seen it yet but I decided to post it here anyway.
Are Tunguska mercs supposed to be in generic Nomads? Because getting a regular ABH is cool and Raoul is crazy.
Defensive links often have "filler" troops so being able to mix in cheap troops is really good. However if you have it as a Securitate link you'll need a weighty Securitate Hacker if you want SS2 hacking on your repeater, where a Grenzer link gets an Interventor you'd want anyways.
Hmmm, probably not. I'm betting it's a another bug or CB just copy pasted everything Tunguska over to vanilla without weeding out the sectorial exclusives. That and in army it seems the unit logos are broken for the new Tunguska units in vanilla.
Used this for a Safe Area game yesterday Was pretty damn effective! Oh god I hope so! Perseus doesn't have his FTO option in vanilla tho, so I don't think they just ported everything, they adjusted it too. And it does make little bit sense with Raoul since he already is in two Nomad Sectorials now. But then again the Heckler Hacker lost his hacking device so who knows what they are doing!
