Assuming ARM0, BTS0, CC8 with Electric Pulse, BS 11 with SMG and pistol, 1 wound S2 with PHIs 13... I'd bet less than 25 points and 0SWC

Nah, they need a skill that lets them use lightning without having a KHD. Obviously they can’t be hackable. Also they need albedo.

Don't forget Fatality Level 2 makes the model cheaper!

How about combining Albedo and ODD? just for sake of total frustration.

On which side? Both ODD and Albedo have NFB so it'd be a game of 'this order I'm using ODD not Albedo', 'I'm going to use Albedo to and Move into LOF of your Bao MSR'.

Eh. There are armies with no MSV, to them Albedo makes no difference regardless of this hypothetical NFB-crossed combo. To them it boils down to applying sufficient amount of blingy chain pellets / vivifying napalm to the troubled area either way. It's not like those tools are too expensive, too.

No. It doesn't. It gets sniped by a TO Sniper when you drop your ODD to deal with an MSV troop. You're better off with a Minelayer Repeater that you White Noise through (on a Lt order) and stack it with straight ODD. Importantly this allows you to -9 MSV1.

Pesky TO snipers ruining all the fun. Still I think ODD would be a nice pickfor Heckler, especially as he seems to have mid field weaponry choices.

I wonder what we are going to get for an AD troop? I would like to see something like a Moran with AD instead of infiltration.

Might not get one - Bakunin doesn't have any AD other than the Meteor Zond, after all. Maybe we have more AVA on that in Tunguska.

Considering Nomads already have an AD REM I'd be surprised. But my personal pipedream for the nautical zond is something like an orbital drop version of a ship's turret. Something with combat jump and a TAG weapon, but maybe 2-0 move.

I think it's most likely to be a heavy armored REM with mediocre weapons, based on Gecko Fluff
That's the only mention of naval action I know of in Nomad fluff, but I certainly haven't read it all.

Tunguska already has big fists in the form of Kriza and Szalamandra, but everything else seems to be light infantry or medium REMs. I think a damage sponge to push up a corridor or act as a major speed bump would have value without being game breaking.

Hellcat can already AD in a TAG weapon.

It's extremely rare to see a TAG in my local meta so I always forget that HMGs and Spitfires are TAG weapons too. Due to the fact that most line troops get HMGs I tend to think of them as infantry weapons. I was thinking more like a MULTI HMG or HRMC, something you would expect to see mounted on a small spaceship or used as point defense on a larger vessel.

Santiagos and Sekbans are supposed to be kitted out for boarding actions. Both have Zero-G, 360 visors, a small teardrop, and some kind of non lethal weapon, E/M Grenades for the Knights, Stun Pistols for Sekban. Since all REMs have non-lethal with their cattle prod, that just leaves the 360 and small template.

I demand 360 visors for my Geckos. This is anti-Nomad discrimination.

Well if you want to know what it'd be like you can get pretty close.

Alas, they were but a fleeting moment of glory...

Maybe we should petition CB... er, the armouries, that based on combat experience with them in the Wotan campaign a lighter Gecko variant or an HI with such capability outside of zero-g could be nice...
