Hi all, I'm brand new to Infinity, and I'm wanting to learn more about its lore. I'm wondering if someone could point me in the right direction of where I should start. Thanks!
Human Sphere page has some fluff and lore for the armies and units. https://human-sphere.com/index.php?title=Main_Page Most of it is in the books, though. You get the rules for free (download) but if you're a fluff-bunny and want that, you have to shell out for the books or know someone who already has them.
There's also the RPG core book by Modiphius, you can get it hard copy or as a PDF from Drivethrurpg. It gives more of a look at the overall political, economic, and civilian aspects of the fluff whilst the Wargame rulebooks focus more on the military side.
Also, in the Downloads section there should be a document with "what has happen" , in https://assets.infinitythegame.net/...ve_guide/en/v1.0/infinity_narrative_guide.pdf The basic "start here" are the fluff parts on the core book and the Human Sphere N3 books, too.
