*looks at Saladin, Sun Tze, Moderators, and a whole bunch of Aleph that's all over the place* I'm sure you can come up with a half-baked reason that makes sense for them to be in more than one army. Cho as O-12 liaison to the <insert army here> Or... "This profile is Cho before she joined the Defiance mission" Or... "This profile is Cho before she joined O-12" Or... "This is Cho's twin sister in a male Lhost body who has infiltrated the Yu Jing military in an attempt to kill her sister due to Cho snitching on the family which has close ties to the Triads" See? Plenty of half-baked reasons, and you can probably do this for just about any faction you'd want to cram a similar profile into!
So what? Citizenship is an arbitrary restriction that doesn't exist. If they decide that Cho should be in sectorial X, they will put her in X and make up a story reason for her to be there. Citizenship isn't a requirement to be in an army. Sun isn't a YJ citizen, Moderators are not MRRF citizens, Devas are not native to Aconticimiento, and ISS does not make Garudas. They are on loan, they are provided as military attaches, they go on multi-national missions, they are literally rented out for political reasons, and so on. If they decide not to put a unit in more than one army, it might be it doesn't make sense due to story or that it doesn't make sense from a gameplay perspective or both.
Cho's been in the background loads of times and she's a straight up O-12 Intelligence Analyst, he job is to study non-O-12 agencies, militaries etc. Either that's an argument that everyone should be able to take her as a "Liaison Officer" or nobody should because nobody would let someone like that wander around with their guys watching how they do everything.
Sure, but they won't, because it doesn't make sense in fluff. Sure, ALEPH toasters get loaned out. As far as we know, O-12 citizens don't.
yeah... I don't think an O-12 character designed for O-12 will for some reason magically be in YJ because of.... a last name?
I was wondering why people thought "Katherine" would have a logical place in Yu Jing. I think this is more of a "Takeshi Kovacs" situation.
Aye, I can agree on that one, and as Yu Jinger I'd much rather the in-house CoC be useful instead of being used as completely unnecessary points luggage for a melee light infantry. Cho should stay put in the faction she belongs in :)
I´m fine with the profile alone. Cho-Agents or something ;-) But it is an interesting opportunity. Maybe we see some O-12 units in other sectorials.
