We've already got Seed Soldiers confirmed as a January release, they've said that the general releases will not be the same sculpts FWIW.
Which is just a whole other level of ridiculous, if true. We have swathes of unreleased profiles and full-on unreleased units, but hey everyone be happy cuz Defiance gets exclusive sculpts!
It is a weird use of resources. Annoying personally because so far the split between exclusive models where I've preferred the exclusive and exclusive models where I've preferred the regular release is probably about 50/50. I'm worried the KS models will be better than the regular releases, but it's a lot of money now to wait til mid/late next year to get them, and there's always the chance the regular releases that come out in the mean time will be cooler. I'm conflicted on this whole thing.
The Aleph reinforcement pack from defiance contain Dakini and Deva at a low low price. I'm thinking of taking it to reinforce my O-12 army. How often do you use deva and dakini with O-12 ?
Good to hear and that makes a lot of sense. They want people to buy into the Kickstarter and if they release the same models half a year later, not only will that defeat the point of buying into the KS or the resulting board game to that level, but it also makes people who did feel like their purchase got invalidated. So makes sense, good to hear, definitely. Just hoping CB has grown enough that they can open one or two more monthly release slots.
Frankly, it bothers me a lot. They've been very adamant in years past about not wanting to expand/grow for financial reasons(I believe they explicitly called out tax brackets?), and this feels like they're trying to get around the need to do so by just doing a bigger project with a longer payout and making the customers foot the bill initially.
Dakini almost every game. The HMG is a monster at 21 its 1 SWC. I'll take it over a TR bot every day Deva almost never – The MSV spitfire is decent but is outshined by the Epsilon, the HD and sensor are in the same boat as their role is fulfilled better by other O-12 units. The Assault hacker with lightening would be a really great addition but sadly we don't get him As for the kickstarter, right now im a bit peeved – I really don't want to buy into defiance as I have no one to play it with but I would really really like that O-12 box. My friend said it would go on sale separately at retailers? but I have no idea. I guess my best hope is to attach myself onto someone else's pledge and have them buy it for me.
Holo1 certainly lets you play some fun games as well as being super useful. An overall really great addition to the army. Come to think of it she would be a really great addition to any army. I can't wait to put down two epsilons and have my opponent try and set up an ARO for the wrong one.
I see the sniper across the table pretty much every time I go up against them, and consider using constantly.
Better than that, we have plenty options for "decoying" this holo 1 aggressivly, while being also able to use our Alpha Lt as an aggressive backline piece too without worrying much about looses.
She's gonna be my Gamma's and Zeta's best friend. Really encourages taking some more more risky aggressive LT options

Wouldn't make sense in fluff. People give up their previous citizenship and allegiances when they join up with O-12.
