Renders do tend to look a bit beefier than the finnan product as there's some shrinkage during the mould making and casting process.
Now that's a beauty! Splendid model. Compared to Mary she's extremely dynamic . It's a perfect static pose but everything around her has a slight movement. I really like her, too bad it's a Defiance mini.
Love the new sculpt. Can't wait to mothball the flying nun. I wish they would either give the reverends some CC skills or stop sculpting them with swords that will never be used, though.

I’m torn. I love the new sculpt but I also love the dynamic pose of the old one. I kinda miss that these days with the 3D sculpts. The older models had charm and fun poses. But maybe I’m being biased since the old kusanagi won me some good painting contests lol.
I'm really looking forward to this model and I don't even play Nomads. Fantastic pose and proportions. Mary almost looks like an N2 era sculpt in comparison.
Mary is explicitly the only Baker's Module escapee to not have retarded growth. She's supposed to look like an adult, otherwise Max Scorpio having the hots for her becomes incredibly weird.
I don't know the fluff that well. But it seems to.me that Mary is deliberately sculpted a bit cherubic or slightly child like to at least reference the/ her background. Which is one reason why she might deliberately seem a bit less physically imposing than Kusanagi. Also incredibly weird in a frakked up way is a pretty good way to describe a lot of Tunguska things, or even Nomads in general have some pretty disturbing themes at times. They're not the Mary sues people see them as at times...
The biggest problem with Mary Uhatwo Problems is that any design decision that makes Tunguska players take a hacker over than the Tunguska Interventors, the most Iconic hackers in the game, is a bad one.
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh............... What? The only time she is superseding an Interventor is the KHD one, which she costs 10 points more than and Mary is a hell of a lot less disposable. There are now AHD Interventors and Mary doesn't have a HD+ buried in her back pocket. More often than not she is taken along side an Interventor. She is also a character, so meant to be a side grade if not an improvement over the base unit, especially considering she is an exemplar character that is supposed to show of the core of the sectorial in one model.
Her actual issue is that between her and Interventors there's no reason to take Custodiers in Vanilla. That's a fucking travesty. :'(
Why would you take custodiers like ever ? I wouldn't be surprised nor sad if they removed them from the game or reimagined them as completely different unit ( crazy CC warrior nuns ? :D ), to me they are useless at the moment.
White Noise will always have its place and in Bakunin the Custodier is the only way to get it. Moiras. Custodiers, Healers, I'll never be OK with all these sexy and often half dressed all-female troops moving at 4-2, and MULTI rifle costs are hideous. All these troop profiles should use Dashat Miranda Aschroft as their starting point.
