I'd love to see them do a sidegrade or a slight downgrade and I really wish there would be a impersonator rework (but that's just wishful thinking). Any buff (without being accompanied by a nerf) to HB would be a mistake imo. (My biggest wish for a rule change would be to nuke the fact that the active player can have two reserves. This would allow people to actually have viable counterplay for impersonators.)
I wasn't triying to be satire or sarcastic, I truly meaned it, Hassasin was in a too good spot when n4 came, asawira plus 5 fireteam bonuses never should happen, but now we are on the square one, more N3 hassasin, with the list confident on what impersonator can do or taking really expensive profiles (muyibs, yes mixed as you like but without full bonuses, it hurst a lot when you face now things lik atalanta). The thing what botters me is Avicena and Barid not being anymore "as ghulam" for pure fireteam composition. Hassasin is playable right now, and funny, this is the most importand thing, but for example, right now, against SSA Hassasin suffers a lot. Truly I hope CB will do a good work and both armies will be playables but in balance with the others armies. Best regards.
HB is not only "playable" but they're one of the strongest faction in the game (extremely close to vanilla HB, I'd personally argue they're better). The nerf they got was not only needed, but extremely tame and barely noticable imo. The main issue of HB isn't their powerlevel compared to other faction, but mostly how 2/3 of the sectorial is strictly worse versions of other same in-faction profiles (though that kind of issue isn't restricted to HB). Shujae are just worse Nadhir and Yasbir is just a (significantly) worse Fiday. They have so many profiles like this with like 90% loadout overlap, but with one clearly better winner. Though I don't think that buffing the lower ends (or giving more good options without nerfs elsewhere) would be good for the game.
I think we really don't disagree too much. In my opinion the early N4 Hassasin had some things which never should happen, so a "nerf" was needed, no doubt of it, but I think they cut so much. Yes, hassasin is still playable, I couldn't (neither try) to deny the fact. I have to say you nailed it, they are a bunch of profiles which have a better version, and this is a problem. Maybe it will be something CB fix in the new box... So it will be a high probability for some profiles to get away or to be radically changed. I always like to read opinions of others players. Maybe, but most other profiles in the Aleph part of the box might surely be more expensive than their equivalents on the HB side. I hope for new Muyibs as "Line MI" in the box :)
