Not sure where you see that, in my opinion the Daylamis have "Rilfe+light Grenade Launcher", "Rifle+Light Shotgun" and "Light Shotgun+ CCW". Sad about the no panzerfausts in Code one.
No, the girl with the ‘unknown’ new weapon on her hip is armed with a light shotgun. As for the unknown weapon itself, could be a lgl, could be a panzerfaust, (and either not used or something different in C1). The muzzle is the same as the two tube pzfst (look at Jaguars for reference).
That’s exactly what they are outfitted with. Marksman Rifle and Panzerfaust are the only weapons missing.
I was on a trip for last week and only saw the minis on phone. Now I watched them in peace on my computer, but that didn't change the most important thing - I'm not impressed by them. As few other players wrote already, the minis aren't bad, but they're also not beautiful. I don't understand why there are so many changes in style, detail et cetera. It also looks like CB forgot how to sculpt pants... I don't get why we're having a Daylami "Saladin wanna be" with a sword. And why such cheap expendable troops got so rich clothes and unified style? And why we're even getting Daylamis again in starter. Maybe they will be regular, which would be a really big change for the whole Haqq game... Still the best mini for me is the Daylami girl. Wondering what she has actually, but I think we will know this tomorrow. It looks like the girl has Light Shotgun, but the sword-guy has something different, maybe Boarding? Depending on their rules I'm not sure if I need them. Got 3 painted already and another one waiting. About the rest of minis: - Lasqa - good mini, nothing more, nothing less. Have 2 painted already and not really knowing if I need more. - Barid - okay, so we got new style of Pitchers, new style of armor, new style of everything. And as someone already mentioned - a hood without any sense. The mini isn't bad, propably I should get another Barid. - Nadhir - he should be one of the most important miniatures of this set. And he is quite nice, but not astonishing. I like guns with "add ons", yet that Flammenspeer looks really small and unappealing. Not in the way of Haqq. Still this is a miniature I want to have. - BokhWTFtar - do I see some impersonation of CA unit? Or what is this really? It's so far from Haqq's design that I can not say I like it. Maybe some more photos will change my view. And rules ;) I have to say that the earlier big starter with Haqq - Red Veil - was a much bigger YES for me, the minis was just great. This one is rather a puzzle - do I want to have all the minis just to have the collection full and complete, or just leave it as it is? Or buy jus the few most interesting?... PozdRawiam / Greetings P.S. The saddest thing is, that me, a guy, who uses Aleph miniatures as a trophies for my Haqq's warriors, think that the Aleph part of the box looks better... And the best mini is the guy using his shield to hold a gun... :|
It looks like miniaturised/streamlined Al Fasid armour to me. Especially the chest/collar and hydraulic servos on the thighs.
I'm pretty much sure they're both packing the same LSG. Patterned after some more modern Remington 870s shortbarrel variants with a composite folding stock and tacticool furniture (MLOK or Keymod foregtip etc). Though there seem to be minor differences between thier respective models, eg. the girl's one has a slightly shorter buttstock, and the guy's one has prominent magazine tube under the barrel.
In the Blackwind unboxing Video, Carlos calls the ominous device on the Daylami Shotgun girl a "little Panzerfaust" TenNoBushi was right!! Additionally Carlos labels Pandora as a perfekt HVT - so apparently no Profile for her
We shall see. There were models in the past that were profiled as either HVT or actual troops: col.Voronin & Tohaa Diplomatic Delegate.
Also why did he make a point about how much bigger and cooler the sword daylami was? If they dont get a change worthy of such a good looking model then i guess hes another fiday for me.
Can someone post the link? I’ve googled it, hit up their Facebook page, and dropped into dogs of war and still can’t find it. Edit: I found it in the “Game” > “News” section: Yup, it’s was a light baby panzerfaust. I dislike the weapon design as the rocket is very iconic for our faction, but at least it was included so props for for them including it. I personally have some NA2 panzerfausts being printed and shipped over to me found here. https://www.monstrousmakings.co.uk/product/na2-weapon/
Agreed especially when it comes to the “Flamenspear.” Those underslung bottle rockets on the Nadhir SMG is a hilarious failure of concept to execution IMO.
Is anyone else bothered by the Bohktar having a paramedic profile instead of a doctor? Seems kind of weird for Haqq, where we don't normally use paramedics, except for Maggie who is a TAG pilot first and first responder second. Even our most basic ghulam medics are doctors other faction envy. It kind of feels like they are trying to game the system to reduce her points because they already gave her a lot. You think the hands of the Old Man of the Mountain, the best of the best, would include a doctor or two.
No, why? These are HI shock troopers first. And if they're going to be in a fireteam (as 4 out of 6 are "FTO" profiles), they'll have, likely, a Doc tagging along.
With this information? Nope. But that falls in the realms of the background and story, which traditionally gets short thrift.
