Yeah, this is awesome because you are able to "make forget" the laser-cut technic only by the shape of the models, before painting. (I hope this sentence is understandable ^^)
I may be wrong but what I understand from @Mayel is: The way you design your building make them seemless that the fact they are laser cut is not obvious compared to lasercut buildings from other company. The second part is that even before adding any paint job on it, the junction lines and such are already blended in the building aspect. On my own behalf, I have to concur with everyone here, your table is absolutely stunning.
Ah, thanks mate Oh thank you so much! I'm glad you think so. Yes I try to work with the material as much as possible - express it and use forms appropriate to sheets. So that is kind of Brutalist in itself haha.
I'm pretty proud of the Cabbage Palms kit (one with the neon triangles) - it looks great especially when you add a few levels. Do you guys have a favourite kit?
Thanks, it plays really well and the pegs mean they don't get knocked around during gameplay. Here's some prototypes stacked up for a new design! This building will be several kits comprising of: - Objective Room - Interior stackable module (with some windows you can pop out if you like) - Roof Module with some engravings on top. - Interior wall kit (so you can have battles in the office and corridors! I’m weighing up to go modular or fixed position. I’m leaning towards fixed as I can optimise the room layouts and add more detail then. -Office partitions -Computer servers
I forgot to post these before! A few comments under the pictures: Our biggest kit bar none! The blade columns afford your entire link plenty of cover, even if you don't go in the building. The other day I deployed my hacker zhencha in the central lift core on the first level, denying the entire footprint of the building below to my friends TAG and HI. It was one of the quadrant missions, I think supremacy? So it was nice to be able to safely shift his points as needed to any of the zones, as the building was in the centre. Looking forward to having some corridor firefights though! ] Big enough for terrain on top! Love this decal! The decal top right too! Love this shot. Shows the Ariadna / Russian themed sign pack! I don't expect people to actually stack the kits this high, but I couldn't resist doing this haha.
Brilliant ! Your transcription of the architectural style is really immersive. Too bad you're at the other side of the globe and the shippping costs are so high.
Hey guys! Some new kits but more importantly, some nice thematic photos to share with you all! This release was all about walls and smaller bits really, but a new version of the Bruteopolis Plaza Tower has been done. Like some of our Easy Access kits, you access interiors via the side. Makes for quicker and easier gameplay imo - you can still get the proper urban feel with tall buildings, but you don't have to fiddle with stacking at all and forgetting there are minis within! I'll post some more pics later too :)
Looks ace, man! Love the side-opening technique, you're right that pulling off whole floors with minis in them to get to what's below sucks. One opening for the whole building is clever.
Noticed the Easy Access range yesterday on your site and really love it. I thought it would make sense to put them on the side of the table but you definitely prove here that they can sit in the middle of it. As usual your in situ shooting is awesome (OK, I may be biased just because there's a Maggie there, but still). Once again you really make us forget that those are MDF sceneries by the way you design them. A great example is the bus station.
This is brutal awesome! I like the look, the design and modularity! Great Photos and scenery! If the buildings would be stackable and by that easy to store with reduced Size - i would go all the way! I think design for storability is often the killer for ä look and individuality, what do you think?
