Hello, how do you deal with a Karakuri haris team with faery dust? ( because of total immunity it can use its Bts of 6,+ 3 of faery dust and its even worst in cover +3=12 base to its save and ignoring ammo special effects)

not letting them stock up because fairy dust applies firewall, which only works against hacking, not shotting

    Thanks Armihaul,
They are a very hard nut to crack, in the open they need a 9 in the dice to save against a strength 15 weapon ignoring ammo...

    And they suck in CC.
You might still need some crits,
but if you can get a Makaul's triad into B2B,
you have a good chance to get some crits.

A 10 (you need to have your ARM roll exceed the damage of the weapon).

The main trick to dealing with karakuris is patience. That haris is extremely expensive, so be prepared to take the time to fight it. A Sukeul HMG engaging at good range of a Gao-Rael spitfire shooting through smoke (or a stratuscloud, if you want to get really spicy) will whittle them down eventually. Especially if you've got a symbiomate and can engage the shotgun-armed enemies first (since they can't effectively flash pulse you).

Failing that if you want to get them down in one go, makauls in melee. But that requires some very technical execution. I'd start with straightforward guns and patience.

They are also not very good at dodging, and template weapons ignore cover, so mines and flamers are not a bad way to whittle them down.

I think that both Eclipse and Symbiont are giving you nice tools for exploiting weaknesses. As mentioned, they're bad in CC, and they're really unhappy against enemy units that can relentlessly press an attack.

Also valuable to remember that 3 Karakuri is ~120pts. Over 1/3rd of a list. So depending on the mission you may be able to maneuver around them and focus on objectives over straight up fighting them.
