    I am pretty set on the list but need some suggestions on the order pools. If I am missing something egregious for this list let me know also.

    So Order pools how do you like to spilt up your pool.

    I have the Swiss Guard with Bulleteers to move up the board to the Locusts advanced position to then mobe towards objective.


    Fuliser link for long range coverage of my objective and panoplies.

    Hexa sits in hidden deloyment and waits for an amush.

    Aux also sits and plays defense.

    Doc and Machinist can play fix it and/or move towards objective or panoplies.

    This is built with what I own and have painted.
    I have a few other pieces for NCA if necessary. Bolts, Aquila, and Swiss RL

    I really what to maximize my order pools but am completely lost.

    I am a intermidate player who understands the rules but still looking for some tricks of the trade.

    Any help is appreciated.

    I feel like if you were dead set on playing NCA into this mission, it would actually be a good one to bring a Squalo. Swiss guard is gonna need to nab a panoply to hurt the AC2.

    Also you should really double up on the DA cc weapon Locust. He's the most money profile for this mission. You don't want to be dicking around with d-charges and panoplies when you could just run them in without having to interact with the midfield.

    This is a horribly unbalanced Mission especially for NCA.
    Had the questionable pleasure to play it twice - first game I played Aleph vs Corregidor: Achilles just walks im BtB with the AC2 under Eclipse Smoke Cover and blows it to smithereens.
    Second game NCA vs Tohaa, where I ran a Squalo and Machinist. Tohaa go first Smoke across the table and blow up my AC2 with Makauls. Then his entire army hunkers down around the Tohaa AC2. Mines, Flashpulses, Flamers, Snipers... . NCA being NCA I spend two turns chewing through his stuff careful not to send him into Retreat. Turn 3 the Squalo somehow manages to lose a FTF vs the Delegate's Flashpulse, fails the BTS and the game is over. This didn't actually matter much since he would have needed so many Orders to punch through a undefended AC2 (with B1 DAM15 Antimaterial fists) it would have meant asking Fortuna for a big favour anyway.

    The Locust with D-Charges is your best bet. Pretty much the only one tbh. Can't believe I'm saying that but I'd even double down on them.
    If the D-Charges can't finish the Job you can hope his DAM 12 DA CCW does, so while not much that's something. Really have to stress how important D-Charges combined with the Locust's CC value are here for NCA.

    3 tries on 17s if the AC2 is undefended is still pretty shitty though.

    Actually this mission is stupidly easy for all factions with Eclipse or Eclipse simulation (smoke+white noise), that's not even funny and gives no counterplay to opposite player.

    What to play for NCA if you are taking on Looting and Sabotaging?

    Don't.

    Even Vanilla PanOceania is going to struggle here, this mission exposes all the weaknesses of the faction in the most embarrassing way. But it's 1000% or more better than NCA.

    If you HAVE to run NCA you will need two Locusts with D-Charges (or DA CCW, but the only option with that has D-Charges already) and overwhelming firepower to shoot your way onto the target (Swiss HMG for most AROs and an Aquila HMG for Hidden Deployment or Camo AROs).

    Something disposable and fast to suicide onto the AC2 to blow up the mines, Crazy Koalas etc that will be waiting after you clear out the AROs and then throw up the Locusts.

    It's a terrible plan, it's easy for your opponent to prevent and it's less than half as good as the next worst factions at this...

    But it's all you've got.

    I think 2 Locusts + a TAG is aight. It's not like Locusts aren't amazing at winning firefights and Squalos and Uhlans aren't decent TAGs. I would suggest the Squalo over the Uhlan tho... expected value vs. the AC2 with its ARM 8 is .3475 wound vs. .2250 per order spent. OTOH that's a sucker's game anyway, Locust is way more like to get things done.

    Don't forget that Locusts don't lost anything by being the Datatracker... you aren't paying for a marker state you won't use.

    Because the average PanO Tag does like 0.5 points of damage to it per Order in CC when being generous (Only hitting it with a Fist gets Antimaterial and that's PH -2 vs a high ARM Target). That means you need luck and 6 Orders or multiple troops in BTB to add burst.
    Other Factions have 5 point Warbands, CC AD troops, CC Monsters, Infiltrating CC Specialists with Marker State, Smoke etc to deal with the AC2 under your nose while you can't touch theirs until probably Turn 3.
    For NCA with their legendarily bad ability to cross the field en masse, lack of Smoke and lack of Mines to defend the DZ that makes it quite unfun.

    All suggestions are quality meta but am not investing in new PanO models at this time.
    Also you all kinda missed missed the question.

    How does one effectively split order pools?

    I have read about tags and bringing high point cost models to the table. The largest issue I see with that is being order starved as you will need to spread the orders between two major areas. Also with the loss of the models you lose the game plan.

    I have made a few small changes and have taken all your advice in regardless if I am going to be able to use it or not. Proxies are great and all but I generally don't proxie and is I do it will usually only one model or two maximum. Will try to combine two orders into one more Locust.

    Although it doesn't sound like it I appreciate all your advice.

    Well if that was the list I was running I'd want my fire domination pieces in Group 2 to wipe out the enemy AROs, but I wouldn't want both Bulleteers in the same group.

    Any chance of taking a second Locust for redundancy?

    Currently you lose the mission the instant the enemy kills that one model.

    Ok, that's looking more like something with a chance of taking out the mission.

    Now that you've got the Swiss HMG I'd consider ditching the first Bulleteer and instead get a couple more orders in there.

    At least get 10 into your active group... you're going to need them.

    Drop the Bulleteer, drop the Auxila to 14pts and install 2 CSU specialists?

    Maybe keep the Auxilia as is and drop the DA CCWs on the two Locusts... you are going to be using D-Charges on the AC2 anyway.

    Swiss to clear ranged AROs; Peacemakers to clear a path for the Locusts to reach the AC2; a pile of heavy flamers to defend your own AC2 (and force smoke-chuckers to be more cautious), with the Friar on ARO duty. Use the EVO to buff your Peacemakers.

    Edit: At second glance, I'd probably flip the Mulebots around.
